Is it possible modify the Message Board program so an individual user can create a list of IDs, IPs and Names that they do not want to see the posted text from.
The individual's list could be cookie based and specified by the user (no global list, as this would be a real nasty thing). Purely an individual preference.
If an ID, IP or Name that the user has specified does post, the post section would come up blank. Or better yet, the font color is just modified to the hidden text color, so if you really want to see it out of perversion, you can by highlighting it.
Just an idea.

Not possible using the current forum framework. Each thread is hard coded on the system as it develops, and is not interactively reconstructed when you access it.

how bout along those same lines a search feature for IP numbers or ID numbers? This would help people know who is using a fake name and impersonating.
which reminds me, I also like the idea about creating usernames and passwords in the other thread.

Already there. Just use the page text search.
That's how most impersonators are identified so quickly.
