I don't know how this works, but some sites have a link that will automatically download data from their report to excel (IE CBS sportsline.com).

Guru-- Is it possible to put a link on pages to do this? Specifically, it would be handy for the 4-week schedule generator and of course the sartibles.

very straight forward using vb embedded in your webpage.

The full NBA schedule is already available in spreadsheet form:
http://rotoguru2.com/hoop/NBA-2004-05.xls

You can also easily copy and paste any 4-week schedule output directly into excel. You may want to delete the extra row headers and column headers after you do so. BuUt it's probably better to simply work with the full schedule.

Sartible output is also easily copied into excel, if you wish. Just hightlight the area, copy, and paste. It will go into excel in a single column. Then, select data/text to columns, then select fixed width and finish. The data will be parsed into the apprpriate columns. You can then sort it if you want to get rid of the extra column headers.

I have no experience embedding vb in a web page, so I'm not sure how to do what Astade is suggesting. If someone can provide (or lead me to) an example, I'll be glad to consider the possibilities.
