some threads seem to be acting VERY weird.

two examples here:
General Fantasy Sports

Politics

I'm looking into it.

Is anyone aware of any other threads experiencing this type of problem?

I was unable to reproduce the problem on the politics thread referenced above, but I was able to recover most of it.

Fortunately, I was just able to reproduce the problem for the General Fantasy Sports thread. Hopefully, this will lead me to a resolution.

In the meantime, if anyone notices a glitch following the posting of a reply (and it will be obvious), please report it ASAP. I have implemented a more thorough backup routine this morning, so I should be able to recover almost all lost material from this point forward, should the problem recur.

I made a programming change which seems to have solved the problem in the Gen Fantasy Sports thread, although I'm still not sure why the previous program failed. Hopefully, all is now OK.

Guru, in case you haven't seen it.

This thread: http://rotoguru1.com/cgi-bin/mb/base/17535.shtml?1109429705

is displaying under the Forums Standard topic when you view it from the main message board page, http://rotoguru1.com/cgi-bin/view.pl?board=

when you try to access it though, it cannot find the thread.

That's because I deleted the thread. It was not appropriate for that forum.

The main index only updates when a new post is made, so it will just point to a vacated thread until then.

Baseball draft thread disappeared (26 Rings and a Choker Draft Picks #1) ... can it be restored?
:-(

URL that was e-mailed to league members (and which many have been using to post their selections):

http://rotoguru1.com/cgi-bin/mb/basest/6739.shtml?1110171123

However ... URL from Baseball Leagues & Standings Forum that now appears to be associated with that thread:
