If there was something useful that you'd like me to try to recover, let me know. I may still be able to retrieve it. I'm hoping that all embedded links have updated properly. Do you think that if you split each thread into multiple pages the load on your server will be lighter? If people can jump directly to the end (or middle) of a thread then they wouldn't need to download an entire 100 Kb of text to read 1 Kb of new material. Might save you some bandwidth. | |||||

Bandwidth shouldn't be a problem on this server (so I'm told), and straight html page loads aren't much of a server strain.
It would save some download time for longer threads, but I'm not sure it's material. And it would require a significant redesign of the thread storage process. Thus, it's low on my project list. | |||||
