Subject: Baseball Draft Forum ? Posted by: KevinL - [291351612] Thu, Feb 22, 15:01 Just a suggestion, seems several leagues are using the forum as a drafting headquarters. This causes the baseball forum to move to the top, even when there's no new strategy tips there. Would it be feasible to add a forum for strictly baseball drafts, that those of us not participating could then ignore? | ||||||

The only counterpoint is that these drafts will soon be over and these threads will vanish. During the season this will be moot. As a matter of fact, I figure all of these drafts will be completed by the 15th or so. ...FWIW | |||||

Maybe general draft AND standings forum, then. Division specific standings are also a great annoyance to those who could care less about this weeks' "As the Belly's Boil Turns." | |||||

Well, Billiruben, between you & the Beezer, you led me to the answer. What if we said, drafts should take place in the Standings forum? Standings forum is generally inactive during drafting times, right? | |||||

Good idea. Of course, it's a little late for baseball. How can we remember to pass the word prior to football draft activity? Although the standings forum is certainly inactive during preseason, a separate draft forum might be more likely to get used for this purpose. | |||||

I am not sure it is to late for baseball, guru. The updated standings for specific leagues and divisions will likely gravitate towards the general baseball forum, rather than the more appropriate (imo) standings forum. At least that's what happened last year, and appears to be the norm in hoops. Maybe a gentle nudge towards increased use of the standings forum from you would do the trick. | |||||
