Subject: Moderator Query Posted by: Guru - [330592710] Thu, May 03, 15:21 First of all, I want to thank all of the folks who are serving so capably as moderators. I know that the success of the forum is heavily dependent on the moderators' ability to be active without being activist, and we all appreciate that. It's been awhile since I took inventory, and I'd like to doublecheck to see who is actively moderating, and to find out what your general level of activity has been, and which forums you usually visit. I think there are a few deputized moderators who have not been around much of late, and I want to ensure that we have adequate depth and breadth of coverage. If you are a moderator, please send me a brief email sometime during the next few days and let me know you your current status, and whether you are willing to continue in this role. If I decide to recruit additional moderators, I'll put out a call, so please don't bombard my email with volunteer offers now. One of the primary qualifications of moderators is the exercise of appropriate restraint, and if you jump the gun, I'll take that as a negative indicator. Thanks. | ||||||
