Although we all have the RotoGuru site and the various sites in the adjacent pulldown boxes, there are many sites that are useful to evaluating players/teams. Here are some sites that I use in one place for reference. Feel free to add links to your own useful sites.
I skipped some of the obvious sites such as ESPN & NFL.com. I figured everyone knew about those sites.
I hope these links help others help themselves so there aren't so many useless posts such as "Does anyone know what happened to _________" et al.
Google If you haven't checked out this search engine.. you should ! here is an example of a Google search for "fantasy football"
FFtoday
Fanball
Roto Times
Roto World
Draft Sharks- An excellent pre-season site
NFL.com depth chats and official team sites
theHuddle This is a pay site, but a GREAT one.
Football News and Injury reports
NFL local paers (from rotowire)
please let me know if a LINK is incorrect, I'll correct it.

YEah, but when I checked it was only $12 a year. Pretty cheap IMO. I love TheHuddle, but I won't pay them until I've come up with a plan to pony up to Guru first.

Ender, tough for me to pay when there are still so many free sites....and also when Guru's site and tools are available at a "best buy."
It also goes against a hacker's mentality. ;)

if there is any site up there that I would highly recommend, go to draft sharks and sign up for their free e-mails. They offer some additional pay services, but you can still get thee-mails and articles for free.
.. ummmm paers is "papers" for us bad typists. ;)

Mike D, I hear ya. I just found that when it comes to your "Who should I start?" questions, they put up the best advice. I don't always agree with them, but they do seem to at least have informed opinions. Plus they also typically have very good articles leading up to and through the season.

How thirsty are you all for more useful information sites? If you said give me more because I am feeling a little dehydrated, here you go:) Tough Guys Tuff Sports Tuff sports is a good site to get a feel for a players injury risk. What do I mean? Here check this out: Top 50 RB Projections They also put the players in tiers. Enjoy this for this is the last site I will be giving out until the season starts, I know that some of my local competitors frequent these pages and I don't really need to give them my secrets to getting ready for the draft;) Gary

LOL, Now guys and gals I just want you all to remember what I did for you by telling you all about these sites especially footballguys.com.
Now just remember to return the favor by sharing some secrets and tips with new comers and others by answering there inquiries. That way everyone can benefit from the knowledge we have gathered over the years.
By doing this we make this a more attractive place for others to visit helping out the all important one "GURU". For without his hard work we wouldn't be here now, thanks Guru.

I have created an excel program that uses the draftsharks system to turn projected stas into fantasy points and fantasy value.
I don't know how much this can help you, but you might want to give this a shot: draft_Kit (62k) .
if you do choose to try this, the main problem with the program is that you can't add or delete players from the lists. if you don't feel like projecting a player, just leave his fields blank, don't delete him. I think are put there all the draftable players, so you don't have to worry about not finding a player you are looking for.

I stumbled upon this page of football links the other day. I don't have time to go through them all, but hey, maybe White Tiger can summarize them for us! (I'm jealous of your free time, dude!).

The one thing about most of these sites that is different form this one is they are trying to sell something. Here that isn't the case. That is another reason why the GURU RULES!

KKB, last year gleem offered a "score O matic" feature where we could calculate our totals shortly after NFL games ended. i did not notice that feature this year.
I like the off and def sched. great work!

TF, the "Score-O-Matic" (catchy title you got there) is in development right now. I'm hoping to have it ready for this weekend. We'll see.
