0 Subject: Personal 'attacks' go here

Since there appear to be a few of you who find the need to verbally assault anothers opinion....rather than 'dirty' up the subject threads...just post your pointless personal attacks here. That way, if we want to read them, we can...and if we dont want to, we dont have to.

sarge33rd - it's tempting, but I'll resist attacking this idea as the most lamebrain, silly, useless and assine idea I every seen over here in the football section;-)

Good luck this season and maybe we can bring a little bit of civility over here in the football boards. It's going to be tough since football is a contact sport but I'll try my best.

Actually, I think the Football Forum has been much worse that the Politics Forum has been in quite some time. Of course, there are only about 10 of us over there anymore...

Got your advice on the Sandbox problem, thanks. I'll sign up today.

In keeping with the thread, "You suck, dude"

at least a 6-pack Chal. You know what's really funny about the "hiding" thing - he's 6', I'm 5'2" hmmm, now let me see, hiding behind me? Oh yeah, that would work.

Little side note too - ask my 6'4" ex about this little gal of 5'2" putting him on his ass with a really nice right hook. (yeah, you can guess what he did to deserve that! lol). Boy that was theraputic!

I knew a guy from Texas once.

He claimed he had to drive all day just to get off his property.

I empathized with him on that, because I had a car like that for awhile, myself.

I was gonna say smallwhirleds "pooper problems" aka he was having trouble dropping a duece thread might have been worse but at least that one was funny and i gave it a 5 but this one, enough, just get rid of it cuz there doesnt need to be any yelling at each other on here

What kind of idiot would read a personal attacks thread anyway? Guess that's me. D'oh! Next thing you know I'll be watching Jerry Springer!

But come on. I was born in Texas, so I'm a true Texan, but a cowboy hat on the Eifel tower? What blonde came up with that idea??

Actually, it was not blonde. A fella by the name of Daon Wall - owned a HUGE concrete pipe company (recently bought out for gigantic $$$). He is also a trustee/board member at the local junior college. Go figure...you would have to know this town to understand!

;-)

Oh, and a little side note to the tower...It originally was made of wood...but with the weather in the spring & fall the way it is...big wind (sometimes called a tornado) blew thru and that's all she wrote for the wood tower. Recontructed by the City (for huge money I may add at the taxpayers expense) and is now made out of steel-as is the cowboy hat.

refs handed over one of those two meetings sure as it gets hot in TX in Aug! Other went, well, hell, GB won that one on what HAD to be the freaky-fluke play of the year. Def/WR both go up for the ball....ball flies high...straight up....def falls sideways, WR falls flat onto his back....balls lands on WR's chest and he gets up and trots into the EZ for the winning TD. sorriest gddmn excuse of a play I'd ever seen!

Sarge,
Plays like that are why we watch the damn game. That and the chance that the
Cowpokers will get creamed. As a lifelong Eagles fan, I've had my share of ups and downs.
My first Eagles game was at Franklin Field with Norm Snead under center handing off
to Timmy Brown. My highest "UP" comes from the Buddy Ryan days. I think it was the
1st game vs. the "boys after the scab games. Eagles had a comfortable lead and Randall
was taking a knee to run out the clock. Then the best happened. He started to his knee,
straightened up and lobbed an easy TD to Mike Quick. Made the score 34-7 or
something along those lines. Happiest I've ever been watching a game.
May the "Boys" go 0-16....forever.

sure Philly...when those plays are executed BY your team...they're GREAT! Now, had the cowpoops pulled that stunt on your Eagles...you'd be screaming about 'running up the score' and such $hit! (I know, cause I would be!)

Sure Sarge, I remember the play. I couldn't believe that there was another defender near and he just watched and didn't try to get to the scene and disrupt it.

But the same thing happened last year for the OU Sooners. Wolfolke, the receiver on his back catches the ball. Course in college ball he is ruled down.

How about the catch by a Nebraska player a few years ago in the end zone with no time remaining vs Missouri for the win. Hits another guy in the foot and bounces off and the guy makes a shoe string catch for the win.

And to not go OT from this thread. Neb. sucks!

the fall of the ball made it so a 7 yr old could have caught it...assuming he had his eyes open and was paying attention. It was one of those fluke, freak, wierd whatever you want to call it, kind of plays. Hardly going to credit ANY player, who benefits from pure dumb luck on a play. Not a Packer, not a Vike, nobody gets credit from me, when they are the recipient of a gift.
