i've got a -605

If the Giants win, I get pushed up to a very respectable -561 I believe.

Until this week, the worst weekly score this season had been -504 in week #2.

This week, there are 11 scores in the -600s so far, including 10 worse than J's -605.

Last year, there was only one weekly score worse than -600 all season, and that was a -624 in week #16. That person actually picked 5 winners for that particular week, however. Three of this weekend's worst scores have only one correct winner. Of course, there's still tonight's game to go...

Sustainer,

Are you saying you belong to TSN and your score is negative?

Who's on your roster?

They are talking Guru's pickoff game.

I fortunately forget to get my picks in this week. Wahoo!

4 winners and a -337 going into tonight. Thought THAT was bad until I say your score, J...ouch!

I almost feel fortunate to be at -66 for the week on one of my teams, although my other "good" team (as opposed to my "bad" team that I'm shooting for bottom with) is at -307 for the week.

Just remember, folks, that even making the "optimal" picks, a team has about a 20-30% chance of going negative on the week, so it's gonna happen from time to time. Don't let it get you down too much. Getting -600, on the other hand...

I was one of the unlucky teams with more than -600, -655 to be exact. Thank you Eagles! Only -599 after my "sure bet" of the week. :-)

Wow. That's all I have to say. Except for a congrats to StLCards for an amazing 771 points this week on 11 winners.

Thanks PD. It just shows the importance of not giving up in this game as things can change rapidly. A -600 for one team, a +600 for another and the standings look quite different next week.

Shame on you Guru and your devious mind for creating this game that look so easy at first sight.

Go figure, StlCards is #1 again this week. Too bad it's with his other team.

This was my toughest pickoff week despite ending up positive, I had Stl, Jax, SF, and Buffalo doubled.

537 for StlCards' other team! Not like his showing last week, but still pretty impressive due to the frequency of negative scores.

I'll take my 230 and run with it right now, it's my third week (out of 7) being positive. Wooohoooo!

Very tough week. Doubled Arizona (ouch) and nearly all the picks I had to think over went the wrong way for me this week.

If Tenn knocks off Pitt tomorrow I'll end up with a positive score at least. And if Pitt wins, I'll still only be -59 for the week. Could be worse.

Last minute tinkering really cost me this week on my stlcards1 team. I originally had NO to win and doubled up on Wash to beat NYG. Then I decided I shouldn't bet against my home team and that Buffalo would beat SD. Wrong on both counts. At least I left it alone on my other team this week. I'll enjoy my time near the top as it can be very short lived in this game.

beastiemiked - You have 4 doubles listed. Does that mean you have 4 teams? I thought the limit was 3...

No, only doubled buffalo. Sorry for the confusion.
