No link. But had a standings sheet and had put new conferences in column. If I copied correctly when I read realignment, these are new divisions.
AFC-E NEW ENGLAND MIAMI NY JETS BUFFALO
AFC-N PITTSBURGH BALTIMORE CLEVELAND CINCINNATI
AFC-S TENNESSEE JACKSONVILLE INDIANAPOLIS [HOUSTON]
AFC-W OAKLAND DENVER KANSAS CITY SAN DIEGO
NFC-E PHILADELPHIA WASHINGTON NY GIANTS DALLAS
NFC-N CHICAGO GREEN BAY MINNESOTA DETROIT
NFC-S TAMPA BAY ATLANTA NEW ORLEANS CAROLINA
NFC-W SAINT LOUIS SAN FRANCISCO SEATTLE ARIZONA

"NFC North." Yuck. At least it fits well with the concept of frozen tundra.
Apropos of nothing, anyone remember the "four C" NFL division names in, I believe, the late 60s?

Toral - You are, of course, correct. (I remembered them from football cards, which I guess is a form of cheating.)

I copied this from this thread:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ESPN lists the 2002 schedules for each team.
8, 4-team divisions, with only 2 games dependent upon the prior season's performance. Given that I am a Bill's fan and was looking forward to a cake sked, I am a bit disappointed. That said, I think this is the right way to go. With the level of parity in the league these days, a team can turn itself around in 1 or 2 years, making it less necessary for schedules to be heavily biased, and sometimes difficult to successfully implement in any case, given that it isn't clear who the quality teams really are.

Eagles have the home and home with their division (Dallas/Wash/NY Giants), then the 2 divisions they play are the NFC West and the AFC South, both of which look very tough next year (NFC West = Rams/49ers/Seattle/Arizona and the AFC South = Tennessee/Jacksonville/Indy/Houston).
Then......the 2 "throw ins" are Chicago and Tampa Bay..........wow! I guess that makes sense though given their record this year and the weighted system. With free agency, who really knows anyway.

How much do the Bucs love this new reallignment, replacing Chicago, Green Bay, & Minnesota with Atlanta, Carolina & New Orleans. If they ever get a coach, they look to have some easy wins.
