Is anyone interested in an All-Defense league? My thoughts would be:

Shutout-10 points
2-6- 7 points
7-13- 5 points
14-17- 4 points
18-21- 3 points
22-27- 2 points
28-34- 1 point
35-45- 0 points
45+ - -4 points
Yards
Under 100- 10 points
100-199- 7 points
200-299- 4 points
300-399- 0 points
400-499- -2 points
500+ - -6 points
Misc.
Sack- 2 points (.5 sack- 1 point)
INT- 2 points
Fumble Recovery- 2 points
Blocked FG or punt- 4 points
Fumble, INT, FG or punt block for TD- 6 points
Safety- 4 points
IDPs:
Assisted Tackle- 1 point
Unassisted Tackle- 2 points
Tackle for loss 1.5 points
Pass Defensed- 1 point
For every 0.5 Sack- 1.5 points
INT- 3 Points
Fumble recovery- 2 points
Forced Fumble- 3 points
Blocked FG or punt- 4 points

Absolutely I am interested....but only in h2h format.
I recently posed this format in an e-mail to returning managers in another 3rd year league comprised mostly of long time gurupies. When I return to civilization early next week...I will do some recruiting.
I have mixed feelings about awarding individual type (fumbles, sacks etc.) points to teams AND to IDP. To me concept is same as awarding points for teams offensive output (team yards gained and TD's) as well as points to the QB's, WR, RB etc) Also I think the Team defense should receive points for stats given up..
ie rushing yrds allowed < 50 .7
< 100 ..4
< 150..1
> 200 yrds..-2
same for passing and maybe total yrds
for points allowed, Ilike more points (weight given to exemplary pperformances: ie
shut out 20
2-3 15
4-6 12
7-9 9
10-13 7
14-20 5
21-24 4
25-28 3
28-31 2
31-35 1
36-39 0
More thoughts later...and by the way...above point differientals are examples of spreading over possible performances without thinking through how points for categories (yrds allowed rushing, IDP sacks)would relate to each other in a logical manner.
