Duckett to Wash, draft pick to Den, Leleigh to Atl

With Duckett moving behind Portis, in the long run I dont see this as "good" for his fantasy value. Good for this year, but not beyond. With Dunn aging, I'd have thought Ducketts best interests were best served there in Atl.

Leleigh, going from a balanced O to one centered around Vick, cant be good for his prospects either. Has Vick even approached a 300 yd passing game yet? Seems to me, he seldom throws for 200 yds.

Big winner here? Den. They get rid of a problem and get an extra draft pick, all at the same time.

Jerious Norwood is a winner, too, I think. Dunn moving on clears his path to get all of the carried Duckett would have had.

I think it might spell the end of the Ladell Betts era in Washington eventually. Duckett doesn't get hurt much, and he's a former first rounder. I feel that will eventually elevate him permanently to RB2 behind Portis.

Nice job titling the thread thusly, sarge. We can talk about the Barlow trade and how useful that one will be, too.

Heh.

Where I said "Dunn" above I of course meant "Duckett".

Gd pts re Norwood.

As for the Barlow deal...I think it may be a word of caution re C Houston and the other RB hoepfuls in NY, that management thinks Barlow is better than they are. I hold no thoughts of Barlow being "reborn" as a real RB in NY, and as a holder of Houston in one league, I'm not happy to see management go ater him.

Had already moved Norwood up a bit on all of my lists.
Took the ? away from his name also.
Added the ? to Betts.

Not sure, but the other implication is that Roddy White who I had bumped up a little probably now moves back.

what does the trade mean for portis? Doesn't bode well for him with possible prolonged health concerns. I really don't see him losing too many goaline carries to TJ, but who knows. Portis seems to slippling farther and farther. He as a top 7 pick and now he might not even be a top 20. I was hoping to grab him in the 2nd rd, but he looks like too big of risk. I still seem him ranked as a top 10 back, maybe I am overreacting. any thoughts
