0 Subject: CBS drafting?

Has anyone used cbs' website before to run a league?

I've never done it before, but I was invited into a league and they use it. Our draft was scheduled for last night 8:30pm.

So naturally as a procrastinator, I go in and rank some players Sunday night. Website kept crashing.

So I get off work an hour early yesterday to rank some players. It was slow, but I got a bunch done. Then comes 8:30 and the site is pretty much dead. We couldn't have our draft, so we're beginning an email draft and of course everyone's bitching.

Not to mention someone took Domanick Davis with the first pick in round 2!!!

Anyways, just wanted to see if anyone else had an horror stories from cbs. So far...not so good!

I played with it for a few years, but stopped a couple years ago. Heavy on the fluff (easy to upload chickpics), but not particularly good with the meat (stats and such).

I don't recall reliability being a problem, however.

I'm in a league where we use cbssportsline.com. I dont have any complaints about it, other than it sometimes gets hard to access during games if you werent in to begin with. (Heavily used I'd surmise and their servers can get taxed apparently.)

I think Sportline is by far the best site I have ever used, and I really, REALLY like free stuff. I never had a single problem (6 leagues), but we always had live offline drafts. The real time scoring was always spot on and only a few seconds behind the real games.

Any news article you could ever want on a player is already on the site, and the game previews are pretty cool as well. This year they introduced a pick-em game for your fantasy league where you try to predict the winners of each fantasy match up instead of real games, which I though was pretty cool.

CBS Sportsline is by far the best football site I've ever played on. It has everything you need and then some. However, when G24 started five years ago, the site kept crashing. Made it very hard. For baseball league we actually had our draft on Yahoo and moved it to CBS. I had heard that the draft was good now, but obviously it isn't. So many people drafting at the same time, I'm sure.
