0 Subject: Who wore #81 last year for the Eagles?

I know it is early, but the first half has me really excited about Stallworth and McNabb. It has already made me forget that guy who is in Dallas now, you know, that selfish SOB.

Answer: No one, cuz TOs arse was suspended. ;)

Yeah Stallworth with the reverse 81 number looking incredible so far.

Yeah, the Eagles looked good, at least in the 2nd half. But the Giants almost beat the Colts and it WAS only Houston.

Agreed. We'll see who's for real next week. Indy's running game
apparently went to Arizona.

I'm looking forward to the Giants-Eagles game this weekend. On a different topic, why do people still pick Indy to make it to the Super Bowl again this year. Are they much better than last year? Why wouldn't Peyton choke again this year? Too much respect IMO. Haven't people learned?

well there is some chance that Indy will make it to the superbowl. dunno what the exact probability is, but they were only a shoestring tackle away from making it last year.

Teams don't always play their best in every game. Maybe the Colts will actually improve this season. You never know. Maybe their opponents will play worse.

Picking a SB winner before the season starts is sort of an exercise in randomness. It could be virtually anyone, except for maybe Oakland, San Francisco, or Tennessee.

I think the Colts have as good a chance as anyone else.

Philly is better than people think, in my opinion. Last year was an anomaly. Every team falls victim to a bad season once in a while.

Dont forget to leave the suckage that is Green Bay out of your Super Bowl randomness.

I think that Reggie Brown steps up this week. Stallworths TD was the result of a great fake by McNabb, not a good play on Dantes part. Andy Reid could have caught that touchdown. I think that the hype might give Stallworth some double teams which will free up Brown. Maybe 80 yards each and one of them gets a TD?

I think McNabb went out of his way to find Stallworth just like he did with TO at the beginning. But I also think McNabb will go out of his way to find other receivers this week and other weeks, to show the balance, which is what he did before TO got there. So, in a nutshell, I agree. ;)

either way, thats 160+ yds and a TD for McNabb. Add another 40-60 for Westbrook, 35-60 for LJ and we're pushing another 300 yd game for Donovan with maybe 2 or 3 TDs.

I'm liking Phillys chances, assuming all stay healthy. (Which as we all know, is a HUGE leap of faith!)

I said that about the Chargers before the 2004 season started. They didn't get to the SB, but after starting off 1-2, they finished 12-4 and surprised a lot of folks.

Oakland took a beating and their offense looks pretty bad right now, but they have the players to be a decent team. I just wonder if they have the right offensive scheme and OC to make it happen. Getting the OL to block would be nice too.
