Matt Jones Antonio Bryant Eddie Kennison Troy Williamson
With Greens injury, Kennison is a sit-down. (My thoughts anyway.) Jones is nr1 in JAX, so I figure I should start him and same with Bryant in SF. WIlliamson is the "wildcard". Not at all bad nrs wk1 at Wash, but he had 2 drops because he was trying to trap the ball with his arms instead of catching it with his hands. Both times, Johnson put the ball perfectly in place for him, and he let them fall through to the ground. The first would have been about a 50 yd TD and the second was on 3rd down and would have gained about 14 and a first down. Big points in a game no doubt and his muffs have me abit leary. At the same time, if the coaching staff gets him to "grabbing" the ball out of the air, this kid is perfectly capable of scoring an 80yd reception at any time. Missing one of those...could seriously dampen my chances of a fantasy "W".
Soooo...I'm leaning to Jones/Bryant. (and in fact thats who I currently have slated in the start slots for this week.) Thoughts? |

Wait....
Is this against my team Sarge? IF it is, I suggest you bench them all, that way you don't risk any negative points due to fumbles....Better safe than sorry

Do you get points for the KR yardage Williamson appears to be in line for?
I think the WR situation in Jacksonville is still shaking out. I'd be leary of starting any of the WR's there until one establishes himself.
Bryant I think is a go-to guy. I'd definitely start him. Toss-up between Jones and Williamson.

Thats a no on the KR/PR yds. 1pt 6yds Ru/Re + 6pts for TD +2pts for a 2pt conversion - points for fumbles lost.
Agree pretty much, with the real question being: Bryant/Jones or Bryant/Williamson. lol
Went into this season pretty high on both Jones and Williamson. Havent seen anything to change my mind entirely, though Williamson made the same technique mistake twice last week, and it was costly.

Let's see, I know you're not playing me this week, so ditto on your thoughts.

I do think San Diego has a pretty good passing defense, so Bennett may not be a great start. But I really don't like Moss at this point, regardless of opponent, until he proves himself a bit more.
Did I just say that Randy Moss is not a sure thing? Wow.
