For anyone with login issues:

Eagles defensive end Jevon Kearse suffered a season-ending injury to his left knee in Sunday's 30-24 overtime loss to the New York Giants, the Eagles announced Monday.

The injury was diagnosed as sprains of multiple ligaments, including the medial collateral ligament, the lateral collateral ligament and the posterior cruciate ligament.

Treatment options for his knee will be determined in the near future.

The injury occurred during the overtime period when Kearse combined on a sack with defensive tackle Mike Patterson.

Kearse, who had 7.5 sacks in each of his first two seasons, was off to his best start with the team. He had 3.5 sacks in the first two games.

In addition to Kearse, the Eagles had a lengthy injury list.

Offensive guard Shawn Andrews has a shoulder strain and will have an MRI.

Tight end and long snapper Mike Bartrum has a slight knee sprain, although Reid said he will be fine.

Cornerback Roderick Hood has a heel strain.

Tight end L.J. Smith has a shoulder sprain.

Eagles coach Andy Reid added that running back Brian Westbrook's knee inflammation is still bothering him.

Reid mentioned there is a chance Hood could be ready for this week's game against the 49ers in San Francisco.

Cornerback Lito Sheppard, who missed Sunday's game with a sprained right ankle, is making progress, according to Reid.

"He's getting closer," Reid said. "I don't know if he will be up this week."

Yeah I don't know if the Giants pull off that comeback yesterday with Kearse on the field.

Didn't Kearse get hurt in OT?

Kearse was hurt on a sack play in early OT at 12:06 during the Giants' first possession. Eagles couldn't convert a 1st down and then the Giants scored on a 6:36 drive with 14 plays.

Not sure why I thought he came out in the 4th quarter.
