TB's right...we need to "restart" this thread periodically.
In those leagues where rosters freeze early...its looking to me like I sit Westbrook this week. Thoughts?
QB dilemma in one league. Hasselbeck has done nothing to justify his drafat position. 14 pts in each of his first two weeks. This week, he faces the NYG D. Yes, they Gts gave up huge yardage to McNabb...but Hasselbeck aint McNabb. My alternative (and the direction I'm leaning) is A Smith vs Phi. The Phi D has a secondary that is beat all to hell. Thoughts? |

I don't think that's a bad move at all. The phili 2ndary is nothing to write home about anyway.
I'm thinking of starting Westbrook.. anyone know what the status is. I know it's 'questionable' but it was last week and he played (well too)
Any ideas??

In one league I have Westie...the rosters freeze 15 mins before KO of the first game of the week. I'll be watching closely and make my decision at that time. But unless I hear something concrete by then, I'll prolly bench him in that league. In another, rosters dont freeze until KO for ea game. For that league, I'll be watching right up until its too late to do anything about it. lol

My guess is that Westbrook will play, but you're right, you probably don't want to chance it if you have to freeze your roster early. As for Hasselbeck v Smith, I don't know, I still go Hasselbeck. You drafted him to start him weekly, and Smith can put up a stinker any game. I think Philly is going to come out strong/ticked off since they blew last week's game and it could be a long one for the Niners.

Good point on Hasselbeck, Leggestand, but I have him and Grossman in one league and I think I am going to start Grossman @ Minny over Hasselbeck @ Giants. I think I will ride the Grossman train until it falls off the tracks and explodes.

Steve Smith or TJ Housmanzada? Who do you start this week? They are both listed at probable and I really am in a pickle. I have taken 0's from them the past 2 weeks and been able to go 1-1. Also I have Westbrook and Barlow in another league. I'd love to be able to say I'll make a gametime choice between the 2 but Barlow has a noon game and Westie a 3. What's the safer pick between the 2? Thanks for the help and sorry about the grammer!

Unless I heard news indicating otherwise by 11:58 or so...I'd go Smith/Westbrook in that scenario Kyle.

Jones and Smith are both playing, but Blaylock is inactive for the Jets and Spikes is sitting for the Bills so maybe Barlow gets a chance to shine this week.

I have one more finally who to start. Marques Colston vs. Atl or Doug Gabriel vs. Den
I have Colston slotted right now as my starter but I feel that either way I am not going to be getting big points from my WR3 this week.

I really want that "W" this week. Aside from meaning 3-0 on the year; over the past 4 years, I'm 0-4 vs Par2. Need to start turning that around at some point in time, and this weekend seems as good a time as any. :)
