He's avoided the Super Bowl.

Some past victims:

Donavan McNabb
Marshall Faulk
Ray Lewis

Who else was there?

The Dorsey Levens and Eddie George claims are questionable, but it is still pretty remarkable.

Dorsey Levens was only on a very few copies of the game. The majority had Barry Sanders. I guess it can\\\\\\\'t put a curse on two players in the same year.

As far as George goes, it looks like it just took a little longer to settle in:
George, (up until then) known for his durability, would also get injured the following season. After regularly averaging nearly 4 yards per carry in his first five seasons and rushing for over 1,300 yards in each one, he averaged only 3 yards per carry and rushed for career lows of 939 yards and 5 touchdowns in the 2001 season. For the rest of his career, he never averaged more than 3.5 yards per carry, but did rush for over 1,000 yards twice and scored 14 touchdowns in 2002.

That being said, it freakin football, players get hurt all the time.

That being said, I am not drafting the player on the cover of next years Madden.

I am thinking of trading SA and Derek Mason in a keeper league for Willie Parker and Daunte Stallworth. 4 keepers, typical scoring, no PPR. The teams stack up like this:
Me:
QB-Eli
RB-S. Alexander, Rudy Johnson
WR-S. Smith, Housmanzadeh, D. Jackson
TE-McMicheal
K- Akers
D- Carolina
BEN-Culpepper, Barlow, A. Green, J. Lewis, Mason

His team
QB- Bulger
RB- Fred Taylor, W. Parker
WR- Holt, Chambers, Galloway
TE- Winslow
K- Wilkins
D- Indy
BEN- Lamont Jordan (This guy loves him, was one of his keepers), Tom Brady (Another keeper riding his bench), Corey Dillon, Stallworth.

It's basically a slight upgrade in both positions for me, but he gets the #1 draft choice last year and the name that Alexander carries. While SA is hurt, he will be back this year, but how strong? And how much longer will he be around? I was already questioning whether or not I'd keep him at the end of the year. With Parker I'd get a 2-3 year keeper who will produce and coupled with Rudy Johnson, my RBs should be set for a few years. Eli would be an obvious choice for my 3rd keeper and I'd either keep Smith or Jackson at the end of the year, whoever is healthier.
Is it too soon to pull the trigger on Alexander in a keeper league?

speaking of curses, i noticed that the entire steelers defense was foolish enough to appear in a campbells chunky commercial. they never learn.

Ethan Albright's not happy with his Madden 2006 rating:

I can't reprint much of the article without extensive content editing... but I LMAO.

My agility rating on your game is 33. It makes it sound like I just topple over if I start walking too fast. Ted Washington is rated a 40 in agility. He is listed at 365 ponds. If Ted Washington tied a white lady up and made her wear a metal bikini, he’d look just like Jabba the Hut.
