unbelievable...
9 secs in the half, trailing 7-0, and Phi gos for the TD. Comes up 2 yds shy and the clock runs out.
Why NOT kick the FG and get something on the scoreboard?????? |

And Tampa comes back with a 62 yard field goal at the buzzer. Holy...
That 70 yard reception by Ward was pretty great to watch too... he ran out of his shoe and his scok was starting to come off but he had just enough to dive into the endzone.
There have been a lot of really amazing performances so far this weekend... it's been a joy to watch!

OMG, as an Eagles fan, I am really pissed. Andy Reid has got to learn clock management.

The Eagles had a real shot at being 7-0. I know that a few plays here and there, but, it seems that it is stupidity that has given them three losses. I am even doubting playoffs now, the second half is really tough.

They are sloppy. Very sloppy. Not the mark of an Andy Reid team, nor that of a championship team. The talent is there which is the frustrating part.

I'll never understand the decision to go for the TD in the 1st half. 9 seconds, no time-outs, 10 yds, trailing 7-0. Isnt it a HUGE "moral" factor or momentum factor, to at least put something other than that zero, on the scorebaord?

I would have gone for the TD----but the pass HAS to be thrown in the endzone. EVERYONE but McNabb knows that. A fade pass would have been just a tad smarter. Baskett is a big dude.
Then the FG if it fails.

How can anyone stand a chance going up against these guys this week:
Vick 232yds, 4TDs, 40rush yds Ward 171yds, 3TDs Crumpler 117yds, 3TDs
thats just not fair. My entire team probably wont even match the points from those 3 guys.

CBS reporting that Hasselbeck is out with a knee injury and his return is "doubtful". Anyone got anything more on it than that?

Seahawks QB Matt Hasselbeck left Sunday's game against the Vikings with a knee injury. He was taken into the locker room for further examination. He was diagnosed with the sprained MCL in his right knee. His return is doubtful. He threw a touchdown before leaving. (Updated 10/22/2006).
That cant be good. :(

NYG get a safety and the signs are immediate "We Want Romo". L Arrington came in so damn fast, the RB missed his block and Bledsoe hadnt completed his 3 step drop when he was going down. NOBODY, was going to avoid that particular sack.
