0 Subject: Trade help? Grossman?

I need help at QB and I've been offered this trade:

M.Vick & T. Houshmandzadeh for R.Grossman & J.Jurevicius.

I think Housh and Vick are too much for Grossman and Jurevicius. Jurevicius isn't even a guarneteed starter and it looks like Greg Jennings will be out for a while. Maybe I should counter Vick and Coles for Grossman and a differne tWR from his team. Maybe Reggie Brown? What do you guys think?

Here's my team
QB J.Kitna
QB M.Vick
QB T.Green
RB T.Barber
RB C.Williams
RB D.McAllister
WR R.Wayne
WR T.Houshmandzadeh
WR L.Coles
WR G.Jennings
TE C.Cooley
K J.Elam
DEF Denver
DEF Kansas City

thanks

Why do you need help at QB? Vick and Kitna are more than servicable, and picking up Grossman in late October will do little for you once Chicago's weather goes below freezing temparatures. Unless your scoring is strange, it's a bad trade for you , don't do it.

Thanks for the reply.

After looking at his team I noticed he had Bulger. So I rejected the trade for Grossman and sent a trade offer for Bulger.

good call. I gotta agree with legg on the Chi at home in Nov/Dec thing. I was recently asked who on another guys tema at WR, I'd want for K Winslow. (TEs get double ydg pts in our league, so a solid TE can be as valuable as a sound WR.) I run a 2 TE set with LJ Smith and K Winslow, and A Smith for bye weeks. My WRs however...pretty much svck. Looking at his squad, he has two solid WRs, S Smith (who he'd never give up for Winslow, and B Berrian.) I gave Berrian alot of thought, but decided aginast it for the very reasons legg questions trading for Grossman at this stage of the season.(and for the same reason I think, you countered for Bulger vs taking Grossman.)

If you trade Housh then you are going to be needing help at WR. If anything I would try to trade either Vick or Green for depth somewhere else. You probably don't need 3 QBs unless you start 2. I really don't see Bulger as a huge upgrade over Kitna since Detroit will pass more than the Rams.

RE post 4. I agree on the WR issue. This guy has been trying to get Vick every since we drafted so if I trade Housh than I'm looking for a WR in return also.
