Hasselbeck went down and that forces my hand at QB. Smith of SF gets the nod vs Chi, and that worries me.

At WR, I can go N Washington of PITTS vs Oak or A Bryant of SF vs Chi. My thinking is, Washington, just to "divest" myself abit against that Chi D.

Thoughts?

oof, that's rough Sarge. I take it you started sending out trade offers? I am a Steelers fan, but I am not the biggest Nate Washington fan (for fantasy purposes). He is good, but he has a better chance getting 1 catch for 10 yards than any TD's. At least on the Bears front Mike Brown is out, maybe that will open up a few passing opportunities for the Niners?

I heard on ESPN radio today the Big Ben may start. Make a trade or take a "0" Bryant may go negative in CHI this week.

lol I've been sending out trade offer for a WR most of the season.

QB: Hasselbeck/A Smith
RB: S JAckson/B Westbrook/J Addai
WR: A Bryant/N Washington/E Kennison/C Henry(from waivers)/B Engram(from waivers)
TE: LJ Smith/K Winslow/A Smith
K: R Gould
D: Minn/Buff

qb/rb/rb/wr/wr/te/wr-te/k/d

1pt/6yd Ru/Re 1pt 3yds for TE

I've been running a 2 TE set most of the year. Depending on what Henry does (Cincy decides?) this week and how Engram comes along...I hope to be in good shape by wk 10 for the final playoff run.

Got a feeler from another mgr last week re trading Winslow for one of his WRs, but he only has 2 that I'd be interested in. S Smith (which he isnt going to giuve up for a TE) and B Berrian. I shyd away, cause I dont see Grossman-Berrian being as big in Nov-Dec as they were in Sep-Oct.

OK...picked up Huard off waivers. So, I can start him or Smith at QB and either N Washington or A Bryant at WR.

I keep thinking back to the AZ game, and part of me wants to roll the dice with Smith/Bryant. Problem there, is if Smith has a bad day, its almost a guarantee Washington will too. I'm 5-2 and 2nd in my division atm, as is my opponent for this week. I've played my division leader once H2H, and thats one of my two losses, so its an important game from that standpoint.

Input??????

According to Rotoworld, Huard suffered some type of injury at practice today. 'Damon Huard suffered an undisclosed injury in practice Thursday.
Huard was hurt towards the end of the workout and missed the post-practice media session. His status for Week 8 is now in doubt. ' link

Uggh, now I may have to pick up either Seneca Wallace or Andrew Walter for Sunday.

gddmmt. Just traded my 4th rd pick in next years draft for Huard (went through yesterday) in a keeper league, just picked him up in another keeper league where Hasselbeck went down....

*remmeber Hee-Haw???*

...if it werent for bad luck,
I'd have no luck at all,
gloom...despair...and agony on me.

2 RB, 3 WR, 1 flex league.

RBs - Edge, Jamal Lewis, C. Taylor
WRs - Holt, Andre Johnson, Bryant Johnson, Cotchery

definitely starting Taylor, Holt, and the Johnsons.

leaning toward Edge as my RB2.

the question is the flex spot - do i go for Lewis, as it's tradition to go with an RB, or do i hook up Cotchery?

NO has a fairly solid D and Lewis hasnt been all that impressive. I'm thinking my leaning, would be toward Cotchery.

btw...Huard IS starting, for those who might have reason to care.
