Picking 2. Mike Furrey @NE Eric Moulds @Oak Marcus Robinson @CHI Antonio Bryant @NO Doug Gabriel v Det
or anyone else random you think may be available... I also have Colston and could concievable move him to fill one of these WR options, but I gotta think the crappy FA TE's are worse options than the above. |

Leaning towards Bryant and hoping for a shootout vs. NO and Marcus Robinson assuming the Vikings will be trailing and throwing vs. CHI.
Would anyone start Fargas vs. Houston over Maroney vs Detroit? or Brad Johnson vs. Chicago (for reasons above) over Garrard vs. Miami?
This team is filled with crappy players and question marks, I am amazed I am even fighting for the last spot lol...

I would take Moulds and Bryant.
I think you put Maroney in. And Johnson scared me against the Bears.
I have Brees vs SF and Palmer vs Ravens. I am leaning toward Brees, right move?

Brees should light them up... and supposedly bad weather in the CIN/RAVEN game. Not sure how that would impact things. Can you watch either game on TV? thats always a clincher for me on two supposedly even guys.

I have two quandries:
Pick 2 of:
Chris Henry vs BAL Mark Clayton vs CIN Santana Moss vs ATL
Pick 1 QB of:
Jay Cutler vs SEA Campbell vs ATL
I was thinking Moss/Clayton and Cutler this week. But Moss has been terrible this year even though he is going up against the worst pass defense in the league. Meanwhile Henry has been scoring touchdowns but will he against BAL?

I have got alot of the same questions. Its a mess. Cutler in his first start seems dangerous - but compared to Campbell it may be a better option.
If you bench Campbell/Moss duo and they do connect you are gonna be really pissed though lol...

Got another one. Fred Taylor vs Miami, or Deangelo Williams vs Philly.

GO - From those guys I go Bryant for sure and then probably Moulds. I don't know how big the league is but maybe Marty Booker or Reche Caldwell are available or take a shot with Holmes or Wilson from Pitt with Ward out.
I would not start Fargas over Maroney. Even though Oakland changed out their offensive coordinator and are playing against Houston, it's the same offensive linemen.
Electroman - I would go Brees if for no other reason than their opponents. The fact that Brees is on fire and that bad weather could be a factor in the other game are just bonus reasons.
Nerf- I don't feel strongly for any of them over the others. I guess I like Mark Clayton the least of the three, if that helps. I am forced to start Santana Moss in one league myself, so am pulling for him to have a big game, and Henry has been scoring well. Cutler or Campbell is a tough one. I like Campbell's match-up better and have to worry about Cutler's first start against Seattle, but with Denver in the hunt for a play-off spot Shanaratfacehan has to know what he is doing, doesn't he?

Tougher matchup for Taylor, but that's the one my gut says to start. FWIW, I am benching Taylor in favor of Deuce McAllister in one league as my RB#2.

TB - would you start Santonio Holmes (or Chris Henry) over Santana Moss? I have that dilemma in another league.
Why does it seem this week has been so tough on decisions?!

Because for some teams it's do or die this week. (lots of my teams for sure)
I would start S. Moss over Holmes and Henry, but wouldn't lose sleep over having to decide between the three. I think they could all do nothing or have decent games.

I have a QB quandary: Hasselbeck @ Denver or Leinart @ St. Louis? I have Hasselbeck starting right now, but it seems "experts" would start Leinart. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I'd like to know the weather in Denver before deciding, but of course Hasselback did pretty well in the snow last week (in the second half anyway). Leinart@St.Louis wouldn't have those concerns.
Regardless, in these types of situations, usually I go with the old adage of "dance with the one that brung ya" and would go with the stud in Hasselback. Or if you ever played Worms Armageddon - that would be called "leaving your Sheep in the bullpen!" :)

This is the 1st time this season that I have posted asking for advice, but if I go 2-0 this week I will win RIFC AAA2. Cinn Team D (vs. Balt) or Oak Team D (vs. Hou). Thanks!!

I would personally go with Oakland. Who knows what'll happen tonight, i could see a shootout, I could also see the weather making it a slugfest. Who knows.

Wazzup Gman - I have been waffling between Hasselbeck and Grossman this week. I don't like the news about Hasselbeck breaking a bone in his non-throwing hand and we know Denver is a much tougher pass defense than Green Bay. It was nice to see him come back and throw some TD's in the second half after the early turnovers last week, but I decided to go with Grossman. I think that if I had Leinart I would go with him.
GO- Worms Armageddon....lol. My son and I used to play that. Lots of fun.
Loki - Oakland defense has been playing well, but not scoring great fantasy points whereas the Cincy defense has been on fire the last two weeks. Oakland has the easier opponent, but Cincy has play-off hopes on the line. I think Cincy is going to have to step it this week and lean towards starting them. I know some weekly expert rankings I looked at earlier had the Raiders listed in the top 10 for starting defenses this week and Cincy around 20th. Maybe Oakland is the safer play, but I think Cincy could score big.

That's my feeling which is why I just drafted Oakland. Of course I drafted Shawn Alexander over LT, so I can make exceptionally bad choices.

I thought someone asked about starting DeAngelo Williams in this thread but don't see it. Maybe it was someone I was talking to at work. Looks like DeShaun Foster had a decent practice today and will get the start Monday. Maurice Jones-Drew on the other hand got added to the injury report. Looks like he will play, but maybe that makes Taylor a better play if MJ-D isn't guaranteed to hawk his TD's.

I've started Eli Manning all year but I've had enough...Matt Leinart is in, Eli is out.
And thanks for the news TB, I was considering DeAngelo over Bush this week.
I'm going with Santonio Holmes, hoping for a big game with Ward out.

GO and TB - thanks for the input. Both of you make great points. I'm starting to lean towards Leinart. I'll probably decide about 12:57 on Sunday. ;)
