Standard answer - "it depends". It's enough of a risk that I'd probably drop him slightly in my rankings. If you have really good options, you might even bench him. I guess it's a little late now, though.

I know I can't even qualify for the RIFC playoffs and I suck and all, but I don't know how this was even a serious consideration. One fumble lost is wiped out by a 20 yard gain in most scoring formats, and Gore is about as explosive as they come.
Always start Frank Gore.

I'd agree - my only reason for doing so was that I had 3 other top RBs going against weaker defenses statistically (and won't be in a game played in a downpour). Maybe I outsmarted myself, but I just didn't see the need to take the risk of freak weather ruining my season.
