Subject: Drew Brees, is he going to play?

Ive been fighting to catch up all year in my TSN league. Finally with one week to go, I am within striking distance down 240. Me and my competition both have Brees, but with the Saints clinching its basically a meaningless game for them. I was thinking of moving to Peyton for a chance at stealing the title. Anyone heard anything about Brees or any of the other Saints? I mean if I were the coach I would probably let the back up start to avoid risking injury but who knows. Any advice would be great, I know this is where all the big time players discuss strategy. Thanks. |

This is all I have seen, and it was from Last nite.
"Payton mum on starters The News The Saints are locked in as the No. 2 seeds in the NFC playoffs, but head coach Sean Payton has declined to say whether he will play his starters during the regular season finale on Sunday. "However much I play is what I'll play," quarterback Drew Brees told the New Orleans Times-Picayune. Our View Obviously, this creates havoc for fantasy owners who normally rely on Saints players. It's also a perfect example of why most leagues hold their championship games in week 16 as opposed to week 17. We'll let you know if Payton breaks his silence."

I've got a week 17 championship game (after worthlessly pleeding to move it to week 16) and have Reggie Bush.
I think Chicago & New Orleans are really the only teams who have anything locked up, right?
