Not sure if anyone is interested, or even watching, but this Clemson/Kentucky is very frustrating to watch! Clemson can't make a kick (2 missed FG's and a missed PA) and there have been some fumbles, an interception in the endzone with defensive pass interference not called, and some other crazy stuff...
Why does this matter? Its the final game on my 5 team parlay... |

I'm interested too because I picked Clemson to win in my pool, and I picked them to score the most points of all bowl teams for bonus points. (Which would currently mean they need a 40pt 2nd half)
Not looking good!

Sun Bowl:
OSU Beavers 14 Misouri 7
Early in the game.
Beavers choose to go on 4th and 1 and it pays off.

Confession: I quit watching the TT game half way through the third quarter. Then I flipped back over to it two plays before the field goal to tie.
That TT offense is offensive.

I am watching the ARK-WISC game with 2 minutes. Paul Maguire is a complete arse. He has been saying all day how Arkansas would be so much better. I am sorry but these are college kids who are still doing this for the love of the game. Yes a few of them are going to be making millions, but most of these players will go on to other jobs. He also was insulting Bob Greise during his analysis. I don't think he'll be doing many games next season. At least I hope he doesn't.

Boise State!!!
I worked for a short while at KTIK sports radio in Boise. They must be going nuts there.
Good luck in the 2nd half.

Allow me to quote myself, "They're going to run it around this end" and sure enough...
Speed kills, especially if you break containment and get your speed going in the wrong direction.
Well done, Boise State.
So far this has been one of the most exciting bowl seasons, ever. But that only reinforces the fact that there needs to be a playoff system. Call it "Holiday Hysteria" or some other contrite moniker.

When did announcers etc., find it necessary to prounce it "Notre Dame"? Probably a long time ago; I don't watch enuf college football. When I grew up, the University was pronounced "Noter Dame" (unlike the French cathedral, etc.)

Toral, FWIW, Wikipedia has it pronounced: ˈnotɚ dem
Any takers on if that's No-truh or Noter?

I was trying to find out on the Notre Dame site how you say it--haven't found it yet, but found this funny piece from an Englishman coming to ND to study:

The Americanized version would be Noter Dame, but the real way would be "knot-truh Damn".
