I get the feeling this story is going to blow up soon and Pacman is going to be in reaaally hot water.
According to the club owner, who viewed surveillance tape: Susnar said his recollection of the events was based upon his interviews with employees and club surveillance video. He said the trouble started after 4 a.m., when Jones and his entourage of a half-dozen people returned to the club for the second time that evening. Jones tossed hundreds of $1 bills on the stripper stage, Susnar said, adding that when a dancer started grabbing the money without Jones' permission, he got angry, grabbed her hair and slammed her head against the stage.
Security guard Aaron Cudworth, a mixed-martial artist with professional fighting experience, intervened and scuffled with Jones and members of his entourage, he said. Jones then threatened to kill the guard, Susnar said.
“Pacman bit Aaron (Cudworth) in the leg, took a big piece out his leg. He escaped from Aaron while he was wrestling with the other people and ran to the other side of the stage and to proceed to punch another dancer in the face. This is all clearly shown on our surveillance tapes, so for him to say he wasn't involved is absolute nonsense," said Susnar in a phone interview with Channel 4 News. Order was eventually restored and everyone moved outside before the gunman opened fire toward the front door of the club, hitting Cudworth, security guard Tom Urbanski and a female customer, he said.
"He goes out, retrieves a gun, then shoots two security guards, pretty much making good on the threat made by Pacman Jones," Susnar said.

Paralyzed the other security guard, looks like.
You gotta love Cudworth: Helped the dancer, fought with a half dozen guys, got a chunch bitten out of his leg, and still went to the front door to make sure the guys were gone.

From the report that I read, it wasn't Pacman who bit the guard, but one of the women in his posse.

Figured he was a thug by the thuggish things he did on the field--at least in his rookie year.

Three strikes and your out!
Recent off-field incidents involving NFL players have the league's own athletes suggesting a "three strikes, you're out" conduct policy, NFLPA executive director Gene Upshaw told ESPN's Chris Mortensen

Pacman has (allegedly):
1. Spit on a stripper. 2. Slammed a stripper's head into the stage. 3. Punched a stripper in the face.
And those are just his stripper strikes.

Well I will celebrate this policy when it's adopted, but kudos to the NFLPA for at least seeming to begin to grasp the seriousness of all of this behavior. With this Pacman and Bengals stuff (amongst many others) combined with the Indiana Pacers and Tank Johnson deals, it's about time that the Unions in professional sports try to craft some kind of code of conduct to address this behavior that is destructive and dangerous to the players and the people around them.

A team that hasn't had the notoriety but have been just in as much trouble with the law are the San Diego Chargers. They've had 9 players in trouble with the law in the last year.

Cudworth is a very nice kid. I have known him for years. He and my son wrestled together in high school. Cud would not get out of line with a patron, ever!
