I imagine that Gurupies rely much more heavily on online services such as rotowire than fantasy magazines, which go out of date so quickly. Buying fantasy magazines is for me a rite of summer.
I you are looking at one, I pill note that Pro Football Weekly/CBS Sportsline.com's Fantasy Football Guide 2007 includes as a bonus access online to 3 issues of Pro Football Weekly, including their issues that become available August 20 and August 27, which make them winners in the value department IMO, especially if you are drafting IDPs after August 20.

i agree with you Toral. i used to pride myself on NOT buying magazines, but then realized they're pretty fun. be it on a plane, goofing off at work, or in the...ahem...reading room, fantasy mags definitely provide a ton of reading material.

I usually buy FBG's Strategy guide each summer... but my wife decided to beat me to the punch, and she picked up for me FantasyGuru.com's mag. It's not bad, but lacks articles like "Principles of VBD", which I used to find pretty interesting.
I've been on the plane/train/long car rides while on vacation the last little bit, and find it helps me get back up to speed on the offseason moves, as I tend to take a break from football between Feb-June.

FBGs is the pinnacle of fantasy sports information both as a magazine or online in my opinion.

I prefer the WCOFF magazine myself.
