Subject: Fanball Real League has openings

If you already play Fanball Real Leagues and are looking for a home for your 2nd team, we have openings in our league. Several Gurupies are in the league to include Species and Deepsnapper.
We currently have one vacant team and three teams who haven't activated for this season so might have up to four slots.
If you want to join, please post your email addy and I will send you the league name and password.
More info:
12 team league. Currently set up as a keeper league where each team keeps 5 players (1 QB, 1 RB, 1 WR, 1 K/Def, and one additional players that can be QB/RB/WR/TE/K/DEF)
Each team's starting lineup will be made up from the following at each position:
QB 1, RB 1, WR 2, TE 1, PK 1, TM 1, and Flex 1
The Flex position can either be a RB, WR or TE.
Scoring Rules:
4 points for every TD passed.
Any passing TD of 40-79 yards will include a 2 point bonus.
Any passing TD of 80+ yards will include a 4 point bonus.
6 points for every TD rushed.
Any rushing TD of 40-79 yards will include a 2 point bonus.
Any rushing TD of 80+ yards will include a 4 point bonus.
6 points for every TD received.
Any receiving TD of 40-79 yards will include a 2 point bonus.
Any receiving TD of 80+ yards will include a 4 point bonus.
Performance (yardage) Scoring -
1 point for every 20 yards passed.
-2 points for every interception thrown.
1 point for every 10 yards rushed.
1 point for every 10 yards received.
2 points for every conversion passed, rushed, or received.
1 point for every PAT made.
3 points for every FG of 0-39 yards.
4 points for every FG of 40-49 yards.
6 points for every FG of 50+ yards
Defensive and Special Teams Scoring
(The following scoring applies to the complete team and not the player performing the score.)
6 points for every TD scored. (TD's made after an interception, kick-off return, field goal block, punt return, fumble recovery)
1 point for every fumble recovery.
4 points for every safety.
2 points for every Interception.
2 points for every sack.
10 points for allowing the opponent no points.
Very simple rules and fun format. For those who haven't played this format, it does cost 10 bucks for two teams but the site is very reliable and the league winner gets two free teams next season. |

It's not a money league. Fanball does charge $9.95 for two teams, but the league has no fees or pay-outs.

Good deal. Hook him up with the password and tell him to pick a team. I am going to open the other three teams tomorrow, so 4 teams left to fill. If he joins we need three more. I sent an email to Bluzy so if he joins we need two more.

I know a couple people wanted to keep it a keeper league, but with 50% turnover (6 new members) it is going to have to be a redraft. I know deepsnapper and I are both okay with that and I think Species will be as well. Honestly, I think all the holdovers will be okay with that. I shot you an email as well.

Well that's the way the ball bounces......but I would have rather kept it a keepers since I felt I had finally amassed a good roster of keepers.

Redraft is fine with me. The problem with the 2 teams remaining is coming up with 5 keepers in the Fanball format using the wildcard keeper feature. 4 wasn't a problem, but there really wasn't a 5th keeper on either team IMO.
We all bow to the superior drafting skills of Endangered Species. (;-Þ)
