We've killed the actual flex designation experiment. It's back to the way we've always done it.
First and formost reason being that in testing, the flex designation scores 0 points. CBS says they are aware of this and will be fixed by the start of the season, but if it's not, we have to go back and change it then and then go back and retroactively redo everyone's lineup.
NO RULE HAS CHANGED! ;)
All you have to do is make your uy active or reserve, you don't have to set their position anymore. As a reminder, you must have a min of one and max of 3 rbs, wrs and tes. One min and 2 max of dl, lb, db.
Besides the scoring testing, the lineup page looked ugly with that flex designation and not even putting them together. Even the roster grid changed a flex player from what position he really played.

I am even more confused, lol. I assumed the IDP draft was what he meant when he said supplemental, but whatever draft he says we are swapping picks in is good enough for me.
I choose to call them IDP draft and regular draft from this point forward.

Just for reference, the "IDP draft" would be considered a supplemental draft. I can see where we could call our regular draft a supplemental draft (to complete the whole and all), but that would be similar to the NFL calling every regular draft a supplemental draft as well. It is just the annual draft. Their supplemental draft is a lot different, but I suppose we all know that.

IMHO, the NFL "regular draft" is typically referred to as the "rookie draft". True dynasty leagues typically have a similar annual "rookie draft". You can't draft free-agent vets in these drafts.
In the case of a keeper league, you keep some players from the prior year, and then you supplement your roster by drafting both rookies AND veteran free agents each year in the annual "supplemental draft".
For a keeper or dynasty league, there is also the "initial draft" which only takes place the first year of the league. We're adding IDP's to our keeper league mid-stream, so it's basically an "initial IDP draft", or just "IDP draft" for short (as distinct from our annual "supplemental draft" which will follow).
Just my .02 from my non-g24 experience. The NFL does actually have a distinct "supplemental draft"... which involves rookies who weren't in the "rookie draft" for a variety of reasons. Hope that's clear as mud.

This is the INITIAL Draft for IDPs.
Just a reminder that only IDPs may be drafted in the IDP draft. The Supplemental Draft allows you to pick anyone in the CBS database who will play in our league. So if some hot DB prospect suddenly shows himself after the IDP Draft, You can draft him in the first round of the S-Draft if you wish. Again, IDPs MAY BE DRAFTED in the S-Draft.
If you're considering trading away a pick for next year's draft, remember it will be 10 rounds long. 19 players, 9 Keepers.
Think the last three traded draft picks are stated correclty in the rules. Looks like bj21 has went nuts lately with trades, Good job bro.

Anyone making last minute Keeper trades, remember, your deal has to be approved by Cards or I BY 11:59 PM tonight. I am not sure if either or both of us will be on at that time, but we typically are. But try and finish up your deals as early as possible just in case.

GO, I emailed him the same thing.
I went in and checked the boxes for the traded players for SW and Slizz as it's obvious they are keeping those guys just in case they went to bed for the night. They can fix their keepers in that thread after the fact if need be. Both were keepers for their respective teams so this deal didn't even need to be done by tonight. But since it was made, they ahd to be checked or the site would have wiped them.

Working on the draft right now. It will be in the football leagues thread and will start approx. at Noon ET (may be able to get it started a little earlier). I have some Qs and others who are telling me they are ready now.
It appears that only thk failed to post keepers (Doug forgot we use ET). We need to go through it and make sure everything matches etc. but since it has no bearing on IDP draft, we're going to mess with that later.

Deepsnapper, thank you for doing so. I logged into my PC this morning and was like umm...where did it go!?!?! But GO and Ref were correct in saying I can only edit posts from the computer/IP I posted from.
Also, for those interested: I am willing to package LenDale White & Julius Jones for a upgrade at runningback (Willis McGahee/Ronnie Brown caliber/level). I feel that is a reasonable price for two starting RBs.
Nevertheless, best of luck to all in the IDP draft and I look forward to a successful run in this league!

Guys - I am too lazy to go through the threads to find out the exact IDP rules.....but if I understand it correctly, you must draft at least one of: DL, LB and DB. You may then draft a fourth of any of the 3, correct???

Well, those are you must start each week. You can draft whoever you want though. And you have the option to draft additional IDPs in the supplemental draft as well... so you aren't limited to starting the season with just the 4 that you'll be drafting here in the initial IDP draft.

Yeah, that's not right. 31 was correct. 28 is not correct because Morency was traded. So 28 needs to be deleted and VM replaced with Kellen Clemens. I guess I need to post for thk, but I don't know who his drops were. He just timed out of his two picks in the draft, so ds you are up.

Might want to check the flex position of DL-DB-LB My guy Revis had 2 Assist Tackles and 1 Tackle, 0 points?
Noticed Vikings Greenway had a similiar problem with 2 tackles 0 points?
