Did anyone see the 90 minute espn fantasy draft last night? i watched parts of it more the laugh of watching someone draft carson palmer in the first round. Is there such a demand and lack of knowledge out there that watching this 90 minutes would help people? |

I watched parts of it, but quickly felt myself getting dumber, so I changed the channel.

Didn't watch any of it. Who did the drafting?
Was Matt Berry involved?
Just curious.

Matt Berry was one of two commentators, but not drafting.
Here's a recap of the worst draft ever

Cato June was drafting and picked Manning in the first round, and then they interviewed Manning for his take. That was about the only interesting part. cool that an active player was drafting too.

Geez, even reading that was painful. Ronnie Brown as the #59 pick? Vinatieri before J.Lewis and Norwood? Grossman before DeAngelo and Cadillac Williams?
Maybe next year they should tape it, review it, and shelve it.

It was terrible as it is every year. I think this was the 3rd time they've done this maybe???
In all fairness though, I guess it is for the "casual fan." Also, there's really no strategy in an 8 team league. Who really cares when you draft a guy? The league is so shallow that solid players will still be available at any time.

Thats part of the problem, you almost have to take a Peyton or Carson early because everyone is going to have decent RB's and you have to get a leg up somewhere else.
