Who do you guys foresee as being the biggest RV gainers this week? Here's my take:
QB-------Bono, Big Ben RB-------Ward, Peterson (Minn.) WR-------Curry, Randle El, Marshall
Any others?

Moss, perhaps, although his price will be an impediment vs. cheaper receivers like Curry and Randle El.

Yeah, I'm thinking Moss might get some love this week from many an owner. Especially those that pickup Ward as one of their cheap RB's.
Off topic, I've noticed that contributions to Guru are quite a bit down from previous years. I'll try to send more soon but I'm still recovering from Katrina, believe it or not. Just was wondering how much Guru needs to be profitable and what else we can do to stir up interest once again around here like it used to be. Thoughts?

Since you asked...
The marginal costs to run this site are currently running at slightly over $3000/year. Most of that is for servers, but it also includes regulatory fees, bank/paypal charges, prizes, and some minor miscellaneous expenses.
For business accounting, I also allocate other expenses, but those are generally for costs that I would incur even if I closed down the site.
Advertising revenue is up a little this year, and may run in the $600-700 range this year.
So, just to cover my marginal, out of pocket costs, I need about $2500 from GuruPatron contributions. I've cleared that amount every year in the past (although in many of those years, my costs were also higher, and advertising was smaller). But so far this year, the jury is still out.
Football has never been a big "fundraising" sport for me. I figured I'd wait until Hoops starts ramping up to start banging the drum.

Thanks Guru for the update. It's always apropo IMHO for you to "bang the drum" regarding this site. Wouldn't want to be in the situation where Rotoguru.com ever became obsolete. You've become a valued and trusted friend over the years and your dependability is second to none.
Meanwhile, I'll be scraping up some dough here soon and will send it your way. Hope others will do their part as well.

TF, I'm mildly surprised your thinking of dumping Parker for Addai this week. Granted, Parker stats where less than stellar last week but certainly he should be able to rack up against a Buffalo defense that just lost three of its starters due to injury.
Make no mistake about it, Addai is the real deal and he'll do extremely well this week also. Just wondering if the trade to him is really worth using a trade at this time.

Really don't have a clue yet what I am going to do. Need to take some time later today and figure it out.
Leinert A. Smith
Gore Parker Jordan
Branch R. Brown V. Jackson
Scaife
Crosby
Green Bay
Pretty sure I will keep all three RBs Not a clue yet at QB Probably move one or two WR TE, Kicker leave alone. Could leave Defense alone, but feel I would like to go to Cincy.
Just need to see.

No one thinks Chris Brown will see a significant increase in value?

What do you consider significant Vee? He'll definitely garner some movement but as long as he is teaming up with LenDale White in the Titan backfield, I don't see how anybody can sensibly pick him up. Now, if he racks up over 100 yards again tommorrow, well then I think he'll begin to get a lot of looks.

Yeah, I forgot about White.
Its amazing how the NFL has turned completely into a 2 back league. Every team seems to have a second back sharing carries, except for the few like KC, SD, IND...
