I dont really see this as offering TB much in the way of help, beyond adding a warm body to the bench. Not long ago, I was high on M Bennets prospects, but a few injuries later, I see him as more risk than reward. And in this case, the next injured RB out of FL. This move made possible by...
P Holmes cleared to play in KC
Does anyone REALLY expect Priest to return to his old form? At his current age, after his injuries, out of the game for awhile now....5-6 carries/game. Wouldnt that be about all you;d expect to see? A few plays to give LJ a breather?
Chambers to SD
I like this move, for both, a LOT. I think Chambers will benefit from the presence of Gates and the coverage he'll draw, the running of LT (which was apparently resurrected this past week) and a QB with some real promise.
T Hasselbeck to AZ
Not sure which is the more pointless (other than the acquisition being necessary)...Hasselback to AZ or Testaverde to CAR. Is there still a job somewhere out there for J George???? |
