It would be tough to sit Parker, and I question how much running NE will do vs Indy. It would seem "smart" to keep Peyton off the field, but I dont think B fears him, and I think he does believe in Brady-Moss, Brady-Welker et al. This one, more than most, reminds me of Challengers 50-50-90 rule:

Anytime you're faced with a 50-50 proposition; 90% of the time, you'll make the wrong choice.

Sit Parker.

If'n it were me, I'd play Parker.
Even against Bal.

Just my gut feeling.

Update - I've improved my odds by getting in leagues where doubleheaders are played each week! Start a running back for each game and your only wrong 50% of the time!!!!

IE - My wideouts are Owens, Welker, Marshall, Bowe, & Crayton. We start 3 so I usually work it where all 3 are starting. That way the only hard part is deciding which team to start them against. lol

Hey MC, Do you want to pick your poison this week?!!? ;>)

Same problem here:

I have Jacobs, S Jaxn, and Jones-Drew---I can start all 3 or sit
one. I have a UTL spot I usually use for my other Kicker, but am
considering using 3 RBS this week. My kickers are Folk (who I
will use in my K position) and Keading. My league is a "Work"
league where only
points count (TDs, Xpts, FGs, Passing TDS)....

Any advice?

If I do go wwith only 2 RBs I am considering Jacobs and Jackson.

Thanks.

I bet guys like Alstott and Bettis were top 10 picks in that points only league!

Wouldnt it be "odd", to see K'rs going in the 2nd-3rd round?

The league is actually a lot of fun---I had to totally rethink my
gameplan of yards, etc that I had for 10 + years. Suddenly, red
zone backs become great picks for example----little yards, but
more points. A kicker like Folk is golden too. The league makes
Monday's around "work" a lot more interesting. I have decided
to go with the 3 RBs, by the way.

got my own RB dilemma this week;

Looks like Steven Jackson will be back for StL vs NO. BUT, he's been banged up and missed most of the year. I have J Fargas on the bench, goping against Chi #26 in hte league run defense. (Other RB is Westbrook, whom the Eagles HAVE to rely heavily upon as he is just damn near their sole source of offensive production of late.)

Hard to sit SJ, but hard to pass on a starting RB vs the #26 run d too.

Suggestions?

I would go with either Jackson or Westbrook. Fargas still has the possibility of a committee situation if he falters early. CHI is also coming off a bye week, which I wouldn't like for OAK's offense in general.

I like Jackson and am starting him in one of my leagues, but think STL might get down in the game and stick with the air attack. Also, word is that he won't get a full load this week. That might still be good enough for Jackson to do well, but it also might not be.

I like Westbrook because he'll get his yards. Whether PHI is running or passing, he'll get yards. And WAS is pretty middle of the road in total scoring defense.

Personally, I'd go with Westbrook until Jackson is back completely.

are we actually debating this?

Westbrook IS the eagles offense!

He will get 6+ receptions (i dont know if you are in a PPR or not, but thats a good chunk of points there itself) and that will give him 40-60 yards receiving, plus hes going to carry the ball 15-20 times each game. I Dont care who the Birds are playing, Westbrook is going to score at least 1 TD this game.

Steven Jackson, while he might've been the #2 overall back last season, it was still, LAST SEASON. I'll go with what has presented itself to me and go with the Eagles back.

I mean pundits were talking last week how you might want to consider BENCHING Adrian Peterson b/c of San Diego's fericious Rush Defense!!!!!!!! I feel bad for anyone that actually took that advice.

Sure Fargas could do well...but why chance it when you have a healthy Brian Westbrook?

Dont outsmart yourself, take the best player. I'm more conservative then some might be, but Westbrook has never disappointed when he starts and ALWAYS gets me 15, always.

Apparently, I wasnt clear:

I have to start 2 of those 3. Westie IS starting. The debate, is to team him with Fargas vs a weak Chi run D, or with S Jackson, who may or may not yet be recovered from his injury.

the plot thickens...

well I think the rams are gonna get back to basics and have the chance of a high scoring game. Go with Jackson. Obviously my bears bias is taking place :)

Westbrook and Jackson for me. Fargas is still too much of a question mark for me.

I'd probably lean towards Fargas, just because I'm not positive SJ's healthy.

I'm debating between him and Kenny Watson this week.

Right now I have Kenny in, but I'm not sure he'll stay.

Thats my dilemma precisely bili. 2 weeks ago when SJ tried to come back, I put him in the lineup instead of Watson. MISTAKE. Since traded Watson, but have Fargas, who had a very solid week last week, sitting on my bench. :(

With OAK having named the job as his, and with OAKs QB situation leaving their passing game in doubt, I can "see" Fargas going off vs a weak CHI D. Problem of course, is CHI KNOWS this too, and I think Fargas will be facing a lot of 7 and 8 man-in-the-box defensive formations. SO IMO, the key to Fargas this week against Chi, is if Oak can establlish the play-action pass early i the game. They do, and Fargas can go crazy. They dont, and it will be a long day for Fargas "owners".

Jackson OTH, tried to come back 2 weeks ago, and left the game early. I'm not terribly familiar with a "bulging disc" injury, but seems to me it wouldnt require the same type of "catastrophic" hit to put him back on the bench again, as it would normally take to put a starting NFL RB on the bench. With the poor play of late from the StL O-line, and Bulgers problems this year, I dont look for the StL passing game to be "the greatest show on turf" again, anytime soon. This means to me, the same defensive formations for Jackson, that Fargas will see. A lot of stacked defensive lines.

Overall, I rate the NO D ahead of the Chi D, and thats why I'm in such a quandry. I obviously rate Jackson better then Fargas. Enopugh better when of questionable health and facing a better D?

THAT, is the precise $64,000 question.

Have pretty much decided for certain,

that I dont yet know who I'm gonna start.

:(

Henry is inactive.

So I start which 2 of Fargas, Chatman, and Selvin Young? I really don't know what to expect from any of them.

It's a DH so I could 2 different combos ;)

Chatman & Young.

Young showed me something vs the Packers. Cam Cameron has been pretty consistent with whoever the Dolphins feature back is...so you can count on 30 points combined from each.

Small RB dilemma myself....

Priest Holmes against the porous Denver defense

or

Frank Gore, who is dinged up and may not be at full speed, tomorrow night against Seattle.
