Subject: RB Help: Jacobs or Jones-Drew

Need some insight here, please.
I have S Jackson as my other back, but am torn between the other two mentioned in the title. J-Drew has been averaging a TD a week for awhile, but Jacobs returns from injury to face a 9th ranked PHI defense....
I am leaning towards Drew, but with Ward out I wonder if Jaobs will see a lot of touches....
Thanks a lot! |

Jones-Drew. You dont know how many carries Jacobs is even going to get. At least you have a general idea of what the mighty MJD is gonna do.
Also, who went first in fantasy drafts? Jacobs of Jones-Drew? I'd be shocked if Jacobs went before him in almost any draft...stick with your stud! He shouldn't let you down.

Eli blows, so the only chance the NYG have is to keep Philly off the field. They wont score enough points to win by "out scoring" the Eagles. SO I look for Jacobs to get LOTS of opportunities...provided...he stays healthy...which he hasnt done all year.
Depending on your leagues scoring system.MJD will most likely get another TD this week. If your league isnt very generous at all with yardage points, I'd go MJD. If yardage points can easily enough exceed TD points, then I'd be inclined to go with Jacobs.

I agree with sarge. If the league isn't better than 20/1 for Yds/Pts in rushing yardage, I'd stick with Jones-Drew. If you get more points than that for yardage, I'd go with Jacobs.
Personally, it'd have to be VERY generous as Jacobs has had health issues all year long and there's no guarantee that he'll survive the entire game.

From RotoWorld:
Brandon Jacobs-RB- Giants Dec. 5 - 12:24 pm et Coach Tom Coughlin said Wednesday that Brandon Jacobs' (hamstring) status for Week 14 isn't as clear as the Giants had hoped.
Our View (RotoWorld's)- Jacobs will only go through limited drills during Wednesday's workout. The Giants added a fourth running back to the active roster (Danny Ware) and another to the practice squad early this week, indicating they're concerned about Jacobs. Reuben Droughns would start at Philadelphia if Jacobs can't.
Best you wait till before the game Sunday to see if he is even active if you are still serious about Jacobs.
