Not much being said or posted, but trying to make some decisions for his week, and thought I'd throw a couple of things out there.

QB
Romo is one slot
Trying to decide which risk / reward is higher for the other slot.

Bulger vs Cincinnati
He has been cleared to practice, and everything I see says that he is expected to play.
Could be a huge game from him if he goes.

Jackson vs SFO
Starting to look more like what Minnesota had thought they would get from the start.
Risky on how he will do, but could continue along the way he has lately.

Tending to think I'll go with Bulger if everything looks good during the week.

RB
Two different combo's that I am considering
LT and Jamal Lewis
AP and Westbrook

Kind of torn here also, but right now thinking the LT / JL pick.

Any thoughts.

If Bulger goes, he's a way better choice than Jackson. However, Bulger has this nasty habit of being knocked out of games early in the game (twice this year I think).

For 15 cents more than Bulger, you can go with Warner who is no longer relating goal line plays to Rattay.

I'd probably go Bulger and watch the injury/inactive reports closely and switch to Warner if Bulger can't go.

As for RB, LT, AP and Westy are the top three backs so I'd have to go Westy/AP (assuming that this is the Min AP of course). For a lower $ option, I like Grant who's comparable to Lewis this week.

CB,
Thanks for the input.
Looks like Bulger is now having problems, so guess his name is off the list.

Warner it is I think.

Still thinking about RB.

I just discovered that there's a fantasy football game called Paythefan.com with much higher prizes than any other site I’ve seen ($250K for 1st, $100K for 2nd, etc.). They did charge $69, but it seems worthwhile for anyone serious about their fantasy sports. The reason I’m posting it here is that I just emailed them to see if they’re doing baseball also in 2008 and they said ‘no decision has been made yet’. So if you’re like me and are interested in seeing another high stakes fantasy baseball site, let’s bombard them with emails encouraging them to have a baseball game in 2008. The email is support@paythefan.com .

Man my decision making on my WRs/TE wasn't very good. Seem to be doing well enough each week to tread water at about #31 or so, but seem to pick some goofs each week. Glad that Manning over Brady didn't hurt TOO bad, but TO over Moss...oh well. Same for trying to get Dallas Clark and CJ. Wayne got me a TD at least but the WRs I had in before switching were much better.

This is a fun game though.

A good week, after a few disappointments.

I've generally been sticking with the higher priced studs (Brady, Romo, LT, Moss, Owens, Gates), and this week was rewarded (except for T.O., who I suspect was widely owned).

The Minnesota defense was probably a key pickup this week, after several disappointing weeks from the Pats.

I also lucked out when Westbrook was able to play. Adrian Peterson would probably have been my fallback option.

Gates looked horrible and then got hurt. He couldn't even walk for awhile. Next thing you know he's back out there catching balls and gets into the end zone. I was considering Gates/Winslow/Witten and then got this wild notion that Clark could be better than any of them. Looked good in my mind at least! ;)

For some strange reason I actually beleived that Pitt would keep the scoring down against NE.

Anyone who is considering Moss and/or Brady for week 15, are you concerned about the 50 mph winds? I was going to use them anyhow. Obviously many are bailing as their prices have fallen every day. I was going to stick it out, but that wind does scare me. Of course that Pitt D scared me last week and not using those two cost me big time.

Can't afford to have those 2 kill me,
Money wise, Most at the top can afford anyone right now
I've hedged for the moment until I actually see the weather and field before game time
Brady & Moss -> Brees & Colston

I've dropped them for now. Not sure who I will ultimately end up with but am trying to gain some cash for now.

HAHA!

I can't manage to hang onto cash. In fact, every move today has backfired as well. For a couple weeks I made back everything, but there is some sort of deflation going on that has smarted.

The only way is Tuesday - - Sell everyone at opening (Hold Brady-Moss every now and then)
buy all on the way up - - sell Wednesday
Wednesday no price to buy or sell
My current team value is $642 - stopped worrying about it

I'm more concerned with finding the best point producers than the best money gains. Tried to speculate with that in mind. Not always being able to be on at the opening bell hurts sometimes as well. This Tues. I was just 5 mins late and got killed. But it's all good. I can still field a very good team and I'm not broke by any means.

You're obviously doing fine in terms of points
but there are weeks when you want Romo and T.O.--Brady/Moss...LT...
sometimes the most expensive guys are the best match ups.
However you certainly got more out of Grant than I got out of Peterson last week

Well I stunk this week.

I got 4 QBs after dropping Brady. Romo, Favre, Brees and Warner. I figured surely two of those four would do me well. I kept all 4 and of course I strated Romo and Favre. Oh well. Somehow I'm managing to continue to tread water and have the Vikings D yet to go. Oh what could have been...

Not sure where the correct place to post this is, but a few days ago I stumbled onto this: www.fantasyfishing.com . Free entry, $1 MILLION grand prize (actually $5m if you get everything perfect). I already set up a league (id #: 10011, pwd: jibjab) that has 8 or 9 Rotohog football fanatics who know nothing about fishing.

Man if you can't get on right at the bell, you are screwed. Today $45 down so I'm just holding them all. Screw it. I was only 20 mins late. Hopefully some of them will bounce back later today.

REF:
Told you to get on it right at 9:30, it's the diff between losing and making a lot
everyone dumps just about all then checks who's on rise.
I got lucky last week...Dumped Pats Brady-Moss for Saints Brees & Colston
Picked Up Pats D in snow, changed Payton to Romo just before kickoff...ugh !
but who knew my best choice was GB's kicker
Moved up to 10th
