Havent studied anything at all this year but here is a general strategy.
Running Backs - Studs QBs- Decent to Studs WR - Cheapies TEs- Cheapie with a late bye. K - Cheapie with a late bye Def - Stud based on first one or two matchups. Save a trade for this every week.

Thanks for the help.
So people swap defense every week?

So, I am playing TSN for the first time in about 6 years. Last time was when it was "Smallworld". Anyway, I am excited to play.
I remember part of the strategy was that people came on this board and spoke of players to buy, sell, and talk trading.....for max value every week and also just to get good advice, etc.
Does that happen still? is it too early to buy and sell the rosters?
When does the discussion start and where?
I remember people would show there opening day roster and show off, or just to compare?
Can someone elaborate?

one more thing...
why are rookies not available in TSN $50 cap game?
I look for McFadden, and or Smith and nothing?
any help on that too?

Rookies will be added to the game once TSN has a better idea of what the values should be based on pre-season games.

TLE: I'm sure that people will start talking more as soon as we get about 2 weeks away.

Will http://rotoguru1.com/cgi-bin/fstats.cgi?94s include pre season stats?

Sorry, again, this is my first time playing TSN Football. Why RB studs over QB studs?

[7] No preseason stats in the sortables. For football, preseason stats are probably less meaningful than in any other sport.

Will someone analyze my team, please? I really dunno what I'm doing for Football.
Here's what I got so far:
QB: Garrard, D. QB: Delhomme, J.
WR: Hester, D. WR: Mason, D. WR: Jackson, D.
RB: Tomlinson, L. RB: Westbrook, B. RB: Perry, C.
TE: Scheffler, T.
K: Folk, N.
D: Indianapolis
I'm .9 million under the cap.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. :) I really don't know wtf I'm doing.

Alright, I'm back in too.
I couldn't resist taking Royal out of Denver as a cheapie $1mil WR. I also picked up Devin Hester for 3.15mil. I think you still get return yards in TSN.
My QBs are McNabb for 7mil whom I think will have a great year and Jake DelHomme for 5.75mil
Yeah, I did the Ricky Williams experiment for a cheap $4mil and I managed to bag Westbrook at 7mil in the process.
Lastly, I round out the Minny D at 4.85mil and
I end up with .5mil in the bank. Let's see what happens?

I just swapped out Delhomme for Warner, saving me .75mil.
Warner plays SF while Delhomme plays SD. Big difference there. Delhomme won't have Steve Smith. Warner has Fitz and Boldin. Big difference.
Of course, with my luck, I have sealed the fate of Warner and he'll be injured after the first snap, just after he goes 0-1 with 1 INT. Delhomme of course battles back in OT for 450 yards and 5 TDs.

I like the Ricky Williams though. I was thinking about him too.
