Subject: Fantasy Football Week 1 Roster Question

On one am I teams I am trying to decide who to start as my #3 WR for week 1. Nate Burleson or Deshawn Jackson. Also I am trying to decide for my #2 rb between Matt Forte and Justin Fargas. What do you think?

I would start Fargas at home against the Broncos week one. Look what the Raiders did to the Broncos rushing the ball last season. I do expect the Broncos to be focused on stopping the run to try and force Russell to have to throw the ball, but I also expect to see the Raiders focus on running with Fargas still getting the bulk of the carries.
My choice would be Nate Burleson for the WR. He should have a huge week.

Fargas and Jackson.
I know what Burleson can do...absolutely nothing. At least you don't know anything about DeSean Jackson. With Reggie Brown being OUT for Sunday's game, you gotta go with the devil you DON'T know this time.

Burleson had a good week as well (like 60+ yards and a TD), not sure what you are talking about. Forte would have been a better play than Fargas, from both of us, but in reality all his options were pretty good.

RIFC scoring:
Jackson D, - 20.30 (2nd ranked WR)
Burleson N, - 17.40 (5th ranked WR)
I'm guessing he would have been off starting both of them over whomever else he had on his roster unless it was Eddie Royal or Hines Ward.

In RG24 scoring:
12) Burleson - 12
16) Jackson, DeSean - 10.6
Looks like no points for return yards, which is actually fairly standard in most traditional leagues, so Burleson was a better play.
