Subject: Tom Brady owner with a possible trade (Need help)

I was an owner of Tom Brady and unfortunately my only backup is J.T. Osullivan. My current WR's are colston, jennings, desean jackson, kevin walter, and eddie royal.
My rb's are: graham, forte, fargas, and chris johnson.
I obviously need to upgrade my QB position now that Brady is out. I have been offered Brett Farve for Matt Forte and Eddie Royal. Would you make that deal? |

One more thing. I am in a keeper league where I can keep 2 players. As of now I don't really plan on getting rid of Desean Jackson but Matt Forte sounds like he could be a decent keeper. Which makes me hesitant to pull the trigger on him and royal for farve. But yeah just let me know what you think.
I start 2 rb's and 3 wr's. And another owner already picked up Cassell.

Seems like too much. Especially since he might be "selling high" on favre. That deals kills all your depth. I think you can find better. Lots of vultures circling the Brady owners this week.

Sounds way high to me too. Forte appears to be 'the real thing'. Clear cut keeper potential. I sort of have to think with B Marshall coming back soon and the game Royal had yesterday, his stock has to be about as high as it will ever be. Who can you get for him alone?

i wouldn't do that trade. no way, no day.
i also wouldn't completely count out o'sullivan. by the end of the season, i think he's going to be this year's Derek Anderson...

No way JOSE do you make that trade. Forte and Royal will reap rewards all season. Even when Marshall comes
back, Royal is doing KR and PR and I'll bet he and Marshall share and whoever gets free soonest will get the ball...
Favre ??? One year wonder??? INT machine?
By the way, my starting WR are Colston, Jackson and Royal -- so I might be a bit biased. What other QB's are out
there for you (FA)?

My league is on a sun-tues waiver and I am currently #6 on the waivers. These are the qb's available:
Matt Cassel, Trent Edwards, Damon Huard, Tarvaris Jackson,Chad Pennington, Matt Ryan
I have 2 open roster spots so I basically put all of them on my waiver request in that order listed above hoping to pick up 2 of them to go along with osullivan. I am sure someone ahead of me is going to get Cassel. I will find out by the morning who I get.

Favre is high right now (after only playing MIA), as is Royal. This is a manager who thinks you're desperate and will do anything to get a starting QB.
If you're that desperate, just use whoever you pick up. Most of the guys you listed won't kill you and should keep you in contention week to week.
With your RB group, I'd keep Forte at all costs. He'd be a never-deal kind of guy for me.
Jackson, on the other hand, has some good potential for a trade if your league counts return yards.

I just picked up Damon Huard, and Trent Edwards off of waivers. I also picked up Sammy Morris.
I have just been offered Jon Kitna for Eddie Royal and Sammy Morris. I think I have to pull the trigger on that trade.
That would leave me with Jon Kitna, Ossulivan, Huard and Edwards at QB. Obviously, I want to drop Huard or Edwards. Which one should I drop? Tavaris Jackson and Chad Pennington are also still available on free agency. I want to hold on to Ossulivan and see if he bounces back.

Huard's in while Croyle's hurt ("week to week," according to Herm). But, RotoWorld's already reporting that Thigpen will get some snaps, so Huard's definitely not a sure thing to fill in.
