Hate to start a new thread, but got no responses when I tacked this on to JTs thread.
Hey all. Normally don't ask, but kind of the same situation as JT.
Helping my son manage a team in a work league. 10 Team (yeh, I know) Fairly weird setup.
Bonus for 40 and 50 yard TDs whether running, receiving, or passing. All TDs are 6 points.
QB - Brees RB - S. Jackson, C. Johnson WR - Calvin Johnson, Brandon Marshall WR/R - ? TE - ? D/ST - Jax (over Minny) K - Scobee
TE - Have Cooley and Zach Miller My gut says to go with Cooley, but just not sure. I drafted Miller because I am intrigued with his chances if they do throw to him.
Lots of options in the flex spot. Gut instinct is Anquan Boldin or Maurice Jones-Drew. Favoring Boldin
Also have Stewart, Berrian, Royal
Same thought though on not wanting two WR from Denver.
Thanks all. |

I think it would be Cooely and Boldin for me.

Cooley has been nursing a quad injury so to be safe, I'd go with Miller. Cooley only had 2 targets in their first game so he may need another game to get healthy.
I'd go with Boldin. He's stated publicly he'd like to be traded to Miami so this could be an opportunity for him to showcase his "talent" to the Big Tuna. I agree starting 2 WR off the same team can be a little redundant unless it's Moss & Welker. ;)

Weather is supposed to be pretty bad in KC today, meaning running and short passes, which might make Miller look a little better?

Boldin & Miller (cautious on him) Pickup John Carlson off waivers if he's there as I think he'll get about 6 or 7 receptions, 50 yards and the potential for a TD as Seattle's WR corps is so banged up he will have no choice but to goto him. MJD is a slow-starter and with both starting guards on IR and their Center still isnt healthy, he could have another low week.
