Thanks, PD, these are really helpful. They also give you some interesting head scratching moments.

Look at the CBS map. Could anyone come up with a hypothesis explaining why Kern County California and the ID/MT boarder region get the Miami/ATL game?

Is the UP really Detroit Lion territory, not Packer land?

Kentucky is cut up into a dozen different sections. Seriously, does that much of the state have electricity, much less color televisions? Did Fox and CBS go shack to shack in each valley asking which NFL team the folks felt a particular affinity for? What percentage of the time were they shot at with birdshot? Cue Myboyjack, I've run out of jokes...

Glad to help. :)

Guru, is that link worthy of pull-down menu inclusion?

I've been to this site a lot over the years. It's great information. It looks like I won't be getting the Eagles. I was going to head into the office for the early games, but might have to find somewhere nearby and hope I don't need to go in.

SZ, in many cases local stations will air a game that appears to make no sense whatsoever. Most times its because one of those 2 NFL teams has a player who played locally in college.

For example, the LA station used to show a lot of New Orleans because of Reggie Bush.

Without trying to figure out those random games and who's on those teams that could be the reason.

Oh, and other more obvious factor is many stations will show a team that is in the division of their hometown team because fans would rather see that.

That obviously doesn't help the Montana/Idaho region but it may factor in other games.

I have to say this site is awesome and the guy who runs it is extremely helpful. I had a question about how the CBS schedule was decided on twitter and he responded back in a few minutes.

Anyone know sneaky ways to see or hear games that aren't being broadcast in your area?

A local sports bar? Other than that, you might try Justin.TV. not sure of the website. I would be very careful of any website broadcasting content for malicious code.

I have trouble getting my 5-year old to the sports bar at 10 am. He's soft. ;)

I've used Justin TV before. Hit or miss. Just thought folks might know of a new alternative. I'd even be able to pay a few bucks; at least until the Bills are out of contention around week 5.

@bili How about a local BW3s or Hooters? You don't need to be 21 to go there!

Thanks widdle. A good look at the Bills' defense has cooled my enthusiasm for the season.

I started the Bills defense over the Niners in one league this week thinking they had a great match-up.

I also started the Bills D, actually I just typed F and that seems more appropriate. That decision cost me a win. I'm curious if the Bills D and the Jets O were exceptions last week.
