I was messing around at MFL today. Clicked on links/my fantasy links when I saw there was a link to idpguru.com. This is a solid site and if any of you haven't checked it out, you should (unless you are in any leagues with me...lol). I know we don't share football knowledge on this forum like we did in the old days. Then again, we don't all play smallworld and need to share who we are going to buy or sell. Now, we mostly play each other in H2H leagues.
Most seasons I mainly use stats from FBG mixed with gut feelings/pre-season hype and observations. Sometimes I ask myself, "What would Blue Hen do?" Okay, I don't really do that last one. Last year I had a bit of extra time before a draft in 16 team league that requires 11 IDP starters per team (3 DL, 3 DB, 3LB, 2 flex) and took the IDP rankings from FBG, the rankings from IDP Guru, and from fftoolbox and put them all into an excel file and re-ranked them. I leaned heavily on a lot of opinion from Ryan, The IDP Guru, and I absolutely dominated IDP scoring in that league.
So today I had to pick up another DB and was being a little lazy. Rather than look for my shredded rankings that I not only used for multiple online drafts but also at a live draft, I decided to just go peek at his DB redraft list and see who was highly ranked but still available and I saw this: IDP Points allowed by position - DB
I can't remember if he had these up last season or if I really paid much attention as the season went along. Yes, his scoring system is a lot different than most leagues any of us probably play in that isn't specifically an IDP league, but it is still useful and interesting data. |

I found this website myself just this week by Googling "IDP rankings". It's a good start.
I notice some people seem to be leaning heavily on it.

It's a great site. I love that he'll breakdown a team's defensive scheme and explain why a player is undervalued or overvalued.
