Still need a fantasy "fix" after the regular season is over? MFL has a Fantasy League for the Playoffs.
We will use these players:
1 QB
2 RB
3 WR
1 TE
1 PK
1 DST
You can only use a player once during the playoffs. RIFC scoring rules are in effect. Total points at the end wins!
Wins WHAT? you ask. Nothing but bragging rights...
If you are interested, please either sign up here with your email or email me directly.
Invitations to last year's teams and to newbies will go out early next week. Limit 2 teams per person.
Feel free to invite non RIFC friends and neighbors to participate. The more the merrier.

being in 3rd I wanted to know if I still have a chance to win and looked at the other teams around (within 50pts of my score) which kind of players they can field in the Superbowl. turns out that I still have a fair chance to win.
most of the top teams already invested in Manning, Moreno, Lynch, Thomas, Decker, Thomas, Prater and Seattle. interesting is that no team is forced to play a backup at thin key positions (QB, PK, DEF), so all planned accordingly or simply were lucky. I was lucky at QB and DEF.
star players still available to play for their team are:
Manning: taxman, gurudan, Guru
Moreno: building7, toral, gurudan
Lynch: youngroman, mjd2, taxman, rotoguru jr
D Thomas: gurudan
Decker: building7, gurudan
Welker: swinganamiss 2, mcgibblets, youngroman, ywk, second thoughts, td dragons, sister united, toral, s r, rotoguru jr, Guru
J Thomas: building7, gurudan, s r, rotoguru jr, Guru
Prater: ywk, building7, gurudan
seattle: mcgibblets, mjd2
based on this the most common team will look something like
QB: Wilson
RB: Ball, Turbin
WR: Welker, Baldwin, Tate/Harvin
TE: Tamme/Miller
PK: Hauschka
D: DEN
the more players you can "upgrade", the better for you.
#2 McGibblets has the advantage of playing the Seattle defense, if that is an advantage at all
#3 youngroman advantage over the top2 teams are Marshawn Lynch and Golden Tate
#4 ywk can play Prater instead of Hauschka, but already played 3 RBs
the next team with an advantage is #7 building7 who can field Moreno, Decker, Julius Thomas and Prater
#8 mjd 2 can play Lynch and the Seattle defense
#9 taxman is the first who can go with Manning. he also has Lynch to go.
#13 gurudan is the greatest dark horse with Manning, Moreno, D Thomas, Decker, J Thomas and Prater
time to look for some deviation to make up some ground. will be interesting to see who gets lucky in 13 days.
