If your league used standard scoring I would say you are correct. Seems like an odd trade to me.

However, your league has some really wacked out scoring for defense. It seems like it can be very punitive if you have the wrong D.

The team trading Manning...who do they have for backup QB and current Def?

doesn't matter if it's fair or not. unfair trades happen all the time.

if there was collusion, that's a different story.

Yeah, as long as both teams are doing what they think helps their team, I'd let it go. If you have some reason to suspect collusion, that's different.

How many teams are in that league? Seems like you could get something more for manning. 34th overall pick was too early to take him though, at least based on his performance so far.

I dont think there is any collusion, I just felt Manning is/was worth more than a Def/ST.

Thanks for your replies all.

The whole collusion argument is laughable.
#1. How in the hell can you prove it?
#2. Collusion is cheating and anyone caught cheating is fantasy sports should be kicked out of the league.

Everyone has their own standard for what trades should or shouldn't be allowed.
All trades are imbalanced to some extent.
The standard I use is does it upset the competitive balance of the league. Its a pretty high standard that allows for trades that seems unfair at first, but are allowed if both teams are improving themselves.
