The managers in the top 2016 RIFC have been named. (see RIFC thread.)
All other managers from 2015 (and a few from prior years) have been invited via email to participate in a AAA or AA league in 2016.
As of noon Thursday, July 28, I have received favorable responses from the following 28 managers

While awaiting responses from the above list, I want to start a waiting list for new managers. Before committing, please review the following guidelines:
1. All RIFC leagues will be hosted at myfantasyleague.com, as before. The drafts will be held at that site as well, so that all preseason processing is fully integrated.
2. The NFL season starts late this year – September 8. So drafting really doesn’t need to start until the last week of August, since we can continue into the first 5-6 days of September. The draft is a “slow” online draft, typically requiring about 8-10 days to complete. So all managers should have online availability during the last week of August and the first week of September. In general, you should expect to be making 2-3 picks per day.
3. For a general recap of the format and rules, see the second post in the RIFC thread. Note that we do include individual defensive players, and the scoring system is more varied than many traditional leagues.

For the three qualifying leagues, there are 42 manager slots (14 per league).
So far, I have 37 acceptances (including those in posts 1 & 2), and am awaiting responses from the five managers listed in the previous post.
If any of them opt out, we'll need to fill with newcomers. I'm guessing that at least one or two from the above list will opt out - but I'd like to hear that from them directly.

Status update:
RIFC is filled.
Two AAA leagues have 27/28 spots filled- awaiting one last response.
AA league has either 9 or 10 spots filled (depending on AAA slot). Still awaiting replies from two AA invitees.
So - at most, we'll have four AA spots to fill. I'd prefer to fill them with people not managing in either the RIFC or AAA, but I do have enough AAA volunteers to manage a second team if needed.
I hope to nail this all down by the end of this week.
If you would like to try your hand at a AA league (or if you have a friend who might be interested), now is the time to speak up.

I believe I now have the last manager for the AA league. If so, I'm please that we've been able to fill it without any duplicate managers (from other RIFC leagues).
I'll be setting up the AA league shortly, and will then turn it over to wolfer (commissioner).
