I'll be doing some league renewal and prepayment processing today for the various RIFC leagues on myfantasyleague.com. If you receive an email saying your league has been activated for 2017, just ignore it. Recruiting and league assignments for 2017 will not be started until mid-July. |

Invitations have now been sent out to all managers who participated last year. For this purpose, I used the email address that was registered for your team at myfantasyleague.com.
I will have some openings available in the AA league. If you have never played in an RIFC league (or if you played prior to 2016), please post your email address in this thread.
As a general overview, RIFC leagues consist of 14 managers. Rosters include both offensive and defensive players. A round-robin schedule is used for NFL weeks 1-13, followed by a single elimination playoff bracket format for weeks 13-16. Slow drafts are held online starting in late August and continuing through approximately Labor Day. To participate, you must be able to draft your team during that period. Usually, about 2-3 rounds will be completed each day of the draft.

Status update: At this point, I have 49 managers committed to play in one of the RIFC leagues.
With four leagues of 14 managers each (56 total), that still leaves seven open slots. (Boozer and Matt G, I'm including you in the "committed" count.)
I'm still awaiting a response from the following six managers:

I've sent out followup notices to these people. If any of you know any of these people personally and can rattle their cage, that would be helpful.

In addition, I have invites out to two newbies. I'm awaiting a confirmation from each of them.
That leaves (at least) three spots open in AA. I would prefer to fill them with new teams. But, I may have to fill them with a second team from someone already in AAA or the top league.
If you would be willing to manage a second team, please let me know here. As in the past, your AA team will not be considered for purposes of promotion to a league next year. Only your team in the higher ranked league will count for that.

I am now up to 12 AA managers, and at least five current RIFC/AAA managers have expressed willingness to take a second team if needed.
Registration info will be sent out in the next day or so to the 12. I'll wait a few more days before selecting any duplicate managers, if needed.
