I'm interested in a quarterback. Would prefer a 2 for one player swap, but could offer some draft pick compensation if necessary. Players that may be of interest:
Dalton Kincaid, TE, Buf - 7th round
Likely the top recieving option in Buffalo this year. High end TE1 upside.
Zay Flowers, WR, Bal - 5th round
WR1 in Baltimore with plenty of room for growth this year in a high powered offense.
Jerome Ford, RB, CLE - 20th round
Likely starts the year as the starting RB in Cleveland, and depending on Chubb's health could stay that way for the majority of the season. Can't ask for any more out of a 20th round pick

If two players on the same fantasy team are drafted in the same round and then kept, one of them counts as the next lowest (numerically) draft pick in the subsequent draft.
He already has a keeper in round 1 (Lamb). I don’t know if he can legally keep Gibbs as a round 3 keeper.

Well, the scenario i was fearing all season finally happened. I started the wrong B. Robinson... I figured that having both Bijan and Brian Robinson would bite me at some point, and in Week 10 I started an inactive Brian Robinson instead of Bijan... costing me 26 points in the process and a win.
Lesson learned... do not roster two players that play the same position, with only a single letter difference in their names :)

I thought I recalled some discussion in years past about allowing toilet bowl participants to make free agent picks, after players have cleared waivers.
Not looking to take any players from championship contending teams, but since the Toilet Bowl prize offers a strong incentive, I don't want to get dinged by starting an inactive kicker or IDP when I could pick up some scrub as a free agent.

Our league's stated rules on the MFL site say that "Teams which are not still active in the Championship playoffs may not make any transactions - adds or drops - even if they are still competing in the Consolation bracket." That had been a long-standing rule in this league, and was patterned after a similar rule in the RIFC, back when the RIFC was started.
However, I do see that in 2021, the following rule update is listed in the RG14 thread:
Only managers in the championship bracket may submit bids. Bid $ have been adjusted in accordance with seeding. Starting at 6pm ET Thursday, all teams still active in any playoff bracket (champ & consolation) may do FCFS free agent add/drops.
This was never formally copied into the MFL rule settings, but it does seem that it should have been. I don't recall whether this was actually followed in 2022 or 2023.
As such, I'm inclined to re-enable this rule, effective immediately - but want to be sure everyone is aware. If anyone objects, speak up - quickly!
