Subject: Auction Dynasty Fantasy Football League

Would anyone be interested in starting an Auction Dynasty League?
Here's the idea:
-10-16 owners
-Positions: QB, RB, WR, DL, LB, DB, 3 Offensive Flex Players (QB can't be an OFlex), 3 Defensive Flex Players, Kicker, 5 Bench Spots
-RIFC Style scoring
-Contracts in order to keep players with salaries going up incrementally
-Blind bid on free agents
Some things that would need to be discussed
-Salary Cap. My idea would be $250
-Increasing salary cap? Would we want to raise the cap each year? Keep it hard each year?
-Contract length and increase? My first thought is you can keep a maximum of 3 years and each year the contract would increase 10%
-League Fee and winnings? Pay to play with a cash reward at the end?
If I can get at least 10 players interested and ready to draft by the end of the week I think we can get this set for this season. If not then we can discuss, get it set up and ready to go by next year (but I'd really like to get this going for this season) |

I'm up for it. I've never played Fantasy Football before, but this looks like an intriguing set up.
I like the idea of raising the cap every season or so, and I'd rather real money be kept out of the league, (if that is what the winnings are, if it is fake league money I like the idea as the winners keep on winning, just like in real life)

Kyle- I suggest you take you time and make sure you get good owners- The biggest risk to any dynasty league is the one manager who takes too big risks especially when trading. All it takes is one really bad tarde to ruin the competition in a dynasty league. Personnally I have wasted too much time and had too many leagues ruined by the risk taker traders to invest my time in any more dynasty leagues.
