The league was renewed back in June (on myfantasyleague.com). Since then, there has been no talk or apparent activity. BoNkA - who served as commish last year - has told me that he may not be returning.
As it's now August 1st, we should be getting organized if we are to make a go of it this season. I cannot commit to being commish, given my duties to oversee the RIFC leagues and an intermittent travel schedule during the next few weeks.
Who's in? Who's out? Who's commissioning?

I should be returning but I have a very busy August and commishing during that time could be a problem. There isn't THAT much to do as commish, although it helps to be familiar with the MFL commish interface. The bulk of the work is the roster/keeper information.

I like this league because it is so different!
I would be willing to help out, but I am not sure I truly understand how the draft order/keeper thing is worked out.
I am done with vacation until after Labor Day so would be here with computer access to help people with the draft. MFL does have a nice draft format with queues.

I can probably assist with the MFL commish processing since I'll be doing it for the RIFC league as well - although this league has some additional keeper-related complexities. At the moment, it seems that the primary need is to put together the spreadsheet with all keeper options (including related picks).

Once you get that set and people select their keepers, I think I know how to enter them into the MFL draft lists...
Outside of that no major changes? Does MFL automatically set the schedule for us?

Would like to follow suit with RIFC and change the time waivers run each week.
Waivers would run at 7:30pm ET Wednesday and FCFS would open at 10:30pm ET Wednesday.
During the postseason (weeks 14-16), the waiver schedule will be pushed back to Thursday so that any stats corrections (which might conceivably impact playoff results from the prior weekend) can be processed. For surviving teams in the championship bracket, blind bidding will take place at 3pm ET on Thursday, with free agents released for FCFS pickup at 6pm ET.

Also agree on Gordon. Absolutely ridiculous there's still no decision. I'm in the same boat, owning him in a keeper league.

Depends on when he's dropped and picked up. If he lasts through a round of blind bidding without being picked up, then he's a 24th rounder next year.

I just set the playoff brackets and added blind bid money for teams in the playoffs and removed the ability for teams out of the playoffs to make pickups. Hopefully I didn't make any mistakes.
