i don't know what it was originally, but i'm not in favor of negative points beginning with 25. i'm also not in favor of a "double penalty", that being hit with negative points for both yards allowed AND points allowed (especially since it's entirely possible for a defense to allow zero points, yet still be penalized because their QB threw some pick sixes and there were some kick/punt returns for TDs).

As long as D/STs are still penalized for points that they didn't actually allow, (QB threw pick sixes and kick/punt returns for TDs, we should make no changes.

Yes, this helps, but I still prefer to adopt youngroman option in the other thread.
I just reviewed last years discussion and research and this helps, but at what cost? I think we will see an explosion on offense this year if the refs keep calling the games the same way in the regular season.

OK Looks like the Tally when throwing out Tree's changed vote in 5 is 12 Yes and 8 No.
The next Yes vote would end the vote. If there isn't 13 Yes votes by the time this vote ends, it will be defeated. Four have yet to vote.
