If I were commish, I'd have waited until Wed at 7:30p for the first blind bidding, and then gone FCFS after that (10:30p).
The schedule as currently set up (FCFS starts before BB ends) makes no sense,

Before anyone jumps on me for quickly snagging Dion Lewis this morning, let me provide some perspective.
I noticed that skeepers was in the process of adding and dropping players, including Dion Lewis. I figured that he did not realize that he could have simply transferred Lewis to his IR slot.
Or maybe he already had someone in his IR slot? So I checked his roster, and noticed that not only was his IR slot empty, but he still had three roster vacancies (i.e., 21 players), due to getting his last few draft picks skipped.
So it was crazy to be dropping players when he could have added 3 more players without dropping anyone.
So I added Dion Lewis to my team, thinking that maybe commissioner action would be warranted - and by taking Lewis, I'd protect him from getting picked up by anyone else. I emailed Judy and told her that I was willing to relinquish Lewis if she wanted to restore him to skeepers. Of course, if the decision is to let the transaction stand, I'm happy to keep him.
I assume that skeepers is not really paying attention, and/or is unaware of league rules, or (most likely) both. That's a problem, especially at this stage of the season.
BTW, he is also the only manager who did not contribute his share of the league hosting costs. I let it slide, because some of you graciously overpaid - so I'm whole.

Good Catch Guru.
I appreciate you taking that "commish-like" view/perspective to the situation. I personally think it's important to keep some of our competitive balance here (that's why I keep coming back).
Hopefully Skeepers will see this post, and he'll see the mental lapse that he had, and be able to move forward.
Alternately, maybe we'll need to find a replacement manager.

I honestly think we should seek a replacement.
It's either that or we have competitive imbalance all season if he continues this level of activity.
This was once a very difficult league to get into. I remember having an "interview" and having to submit my fantasy resume before getting voted into the league.

I guess I am not seeing Skeepers level of activity as a problem yet. I think he did not understand rules, my guess. yes he should have read them closer, but he has made FA pickups, his lineup is set? This post has only been up for a couple of hours, not a big issue on my part. i would like to see lewis back on his team in the IR slot, but not a big deal either way. I am just excited for the season the start.

He has been in the league since the beginning, 2010, so I am going to assume he knows what he is doing,

He knows the rules or should know the rules. Besides not paying the fee, what is the problem? I get that everyone would want Lewis and put him on the IR for 8 weeks and pick up someone else. Just not seeing the issue with skeepers.

It would be nice to at least see him pick up some players. He's still running the team with 21 players. Maybe there's strategic reasoning behind it (I can't think of any reason why) for him to leave those roster spots empty. Hopefully, he addresses it soon. Or we might indeed have to find a replacement if this is the level of activity we're going to be getting throughout the season.

Skeepers appears to have lost interest in this league. I think we should start looking for a replacement.
I played him this week and he had two injured players in his starting lineup. NEP QB Jimmy Garoppolo and DEN TE Virgil Green. The Garoppolo injury is well known, and Green was ruled out on Friday. He still has 3 empty spots on his roster.

I did not read fine print related to IR but if that is the case--I dropped K. Allen from IR and placed A. Peterson in IR spot. I assume only one can be on IR.

From rules:
Top 6 W/L records plus the 2 teams with the highest total points (outside of the top 6 W/L) make the playoffs.
The top 4 W/L records are seeded 1-4.
The 5-8 seeds are set based on highest to lowest total points.
Teams with equivalent W/L records are seeded based on total points
Bracket is fixed (no reseeding after each round)

Since higher scores get to move to playoffs it seems to me the 4 lowest scoring teams should be in the toilet bowl rather than the 4 teams with worst record.
